Bitcoin as at 1945$ right now (preev.com), the 2000$ will be the new mile stone. What re your thought on the whole situation once btc hits 2k4? Will fees go up again, will there be a mass selling, will btc continue to deal with the this situation this it's in now with the miners and fees and with this rate where the price jumped for 700$ in one month, when will we see the 3k$ mark hit?

Everything is possible. Just for this month we experience huge price change, and we are very close to hitting 2000 very close on some exchanges is little less the 30$ that is very small amount and can be easily jump to over 2000$. Think that it will be just moment peak when hitting this margin and that price may be drop for 50$ down after that or we might see something that is really familiar word around here "To the moon".

$2000 is almost there. But I still believe that there will be some correction price that will last a few days. But then we will see the price rising slowly. As what I have said before, any prediction on bitcoin price is really possible now. There is no stopping now. Bitcoin really proves a lot of its distractor wrong. You will see threads here saying that bitcoin will die or bitcoin is dead now. But look how the price of bitcoin. No one has ever imagine beginning 2017 that we going to touch $2000 and now its within reach. I hope the price will be sustainable so that its truly going to the moon from now on.

$2000 is a nice, round number, it may trigger some selling, but as you said, there's tons of people dreaming to buy cheaper BTC to get in the boat, so they are going to be buying as soon as a good dip happens, it will be going up quickly after.

Once $2000 is broken, the psychological barrier is also broken for the uptrend, so sky is the limit. Once we double the 2013 peak then 5 figures is the next step.

Even though it's just Bitfinex that touched the $2000 level, I am very happy with how we have come to this point. I made a nice screenshot from Bitcoinity's ticker at $2000 with the yellow all time high signals. If you at the end of 2016 would have asked me whether or not I thought the price would touch $2000 this year, my answer would be a clear no. But I can happily say that I was wrong. How often does it happen that you're wrong, but it plays out in your advantage big time?

New milestone indeed will be listed on its history so better we should stake for more maybe the 3000$ would be possible for us to see.

But the question is how would bitcoins price go for more does this one would break another history level? This event would make me feel excited on what would be happen on next following days so better chill up guys.

with the way bitcoin price is rising the bitcoin fees are going to go through the roof! not only the USD value of the fees is rising but also with more price rise there will be a lot more transactions and also eventually a lot more adoption hence more transactions! and that will mess things up a lot about fees

Life for bitcoin is little getting closer to it so possibly we can see that 2000$ would be reach by next week or shall we say on the other week since its almost reaching for that price right now. And this happening would surely be happen since im so sure that many of us are staking and just triggered to sell but been stop by its positive uprise so the result of the remaining holding faith will be coming to upward movements.

At the beginning of the year I was not at all expecting bitcoin to reach $2000 in just half a year, almost everyone was expecting it to reach $2000 by end of this year, but man this soon no one expected it. But well I'm still holding.

It's of course nice to see that we have touched the $2000 level, but don't forget that it's just a temporary milestone. Eventually we'll look back at $2000 in the same way as we look at the $1000 level right now. I cashed out profits between $1900-$1920 at Bitstamp, but I am seriously tempted to cash out more profits at current levels -- but I'll remain strong and keep holding the rest.

It's nice to see that we're approaching to a new milestone and it's only a matter of time when price will hit 2000$ mark and we can move to new target.Not to many BTC users sell their coins these days because there is almost no opportunity to buy them back at a lower price.But some are likely to sell some % of coins at 2k,and there will be correction.As I see now even on Bitfinex price is around 1960$.

This will be a long hot summer for BTC,hope there will be some solution for block size soon.This could double price before end of this year

there are many speculation like this that bitcoin would really hit the $2000 and now that I am seeing the price I think it is a fact that it will really hit it, I think that the $3000 mark value would very resistant I guess, because this value mark is a mile streak for bitcoin it is a record in the making a first time move of bitcoin and this is really a big news for us that is why I think there are some that's gonna dump their bitcoin because of sudden spike drop of it.

haha similar situation here, I was talking to my  friend a few months back about the bitcoin price and he said that bitcoin had no chance of going over 1500$ but from that on, I'm just sending hi screenshots of bitcoin price every time it jumps for 100$.

When bitcoin hits high price enough a lot more investors will jump in and I'd like to see more businesses jumping in. It's a lot easier to explain to someone what bitcoin is than to get some business involved in it.

It is rather funny that with the ATH comes the lowest performance of bitcoin network ever registered.
We have entered and a era where 200k of unconfirmed transactions in the mem pool is not shocker for anyone.
There is high risk of serious consequences if don't find a way to upgrade bitcoin soon. If we do nothing BTC will crash.
