Asset Managers Recommend Bitcoin to Hedge Against US Stock Market Risks

Wall Street saw the biggest sell-off in more than eight months on Wednesday. The market’s worst day of the year was largely due to uncertainty surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump. According to Reuters, reports that he “had tried to intervene in an investigation of alleged Russian meddling in last year’s U.S. presidential election, and that his aides had numerous undisclosed contacts with Russian officials, kept markets concerned over his ability to implement his economic agenda.”

It's a normal thing to happen. In most cases people tend to dive into gold in difficult times, but there is a slow shift becoming obviously clear. Bitcoin allows people not only to easily access the market, but it also provides them a proper investment solution at the same time. Especially when you look at how stagnant gold has been in the last years in terms of growth in percentages. Bitcoin basically wipes gold off the table without any effort.

A lot of asset managers / funds have mandates about what they can invest in and what they cannot.
Unfortunately, bitcoin won't figure in the mandate of most funds. If the SEC approves the Bitcoin ETF, it will be a game changer.

Finally at least some people from inside the financial world show some sign of reasoning.

How long until they recommend Bitcoin as retirement funds for example?

Indeed, your remark makes sense. And I, too, are at a loss from the fact that some users, or rather, most of them propagandize and actively campaign for the use of Bitcoin by broad masses. I've always been an adherent of that side that ordinary people will never use Bitcoin
