Question: I made a transaction of 0.2172848 BTC  over 3 days ago and still hasn't been confirmed. Why is it taking so long? Am i gonna lose my money?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

You're not going to lose your money. Either it confirms and the coins get sent, or it doesn't and coins get returned to sender as wallet "forgets" the transaction and it disappears from node mempools.
I have recently become active again after a long period of inactivity. Cryptographic proof that my account has not been compromised is available.

Your fee was way too low. The current recommended fees are much higher (and have been for a number of days now):
