SIAcoin what to think about this

I have been following Siacoin (SIA) for the last two weeks and it went up very fast, I read there webpage http://sia.tech/ I understood Sia will provide in data storage and in the future webhosting on the blockchain. So far they are still developing and they are checking software in ervery two days. But why are they so much up, I can't find that, there are like 26.000.000.000 coins already how can a project with that amount of coins be worth one dollar a coin for example, can someone explain that to me please.

I think LBRY is simulair to SIA or is that totally different? It would be great if an expert can tell me about these differences and give a forecast about the projects. Have a nice weekend everyone.

It could be affected by the ransomware virus, so for distributed cloud storage it's very good and the price goes up.I don't know about LBRY.

There are a few others like MaidSafe and Storj  but for me SIA trumps them.

Sia offers a  reward for providing storage space and a penalty if you decide
to jump ship, delete other peoples information which is held on you hard-drive
and offer the same space to a competitor, this insures continuity of data storage!

I dont think Maid offers this, and to some extent Storj do, not sure about LBRY though.

isn't that spot already taken by burst? what sia have to offer over burst to be the king of data storage? burst is evne mined with storage sia is only gpu mined like many other coins, the recent price surge was only a pump and dump imho, the value is dumped as we speak

Hmm I havent heard of Burst and there is not much talk about it here?

With Sia you can get rewarded for providing storage space without having
to MINE coins. With Burst you actively have to mine to get rewarded,

I'm depressed. I had 8,000,000 sia bought at 12 and 17 sats in Feb last year. I sold at 96 sats (massive profit) because I felt that their wallet was crap. I don't like crap tech.

I like SIA and how it's dev team take responsibilities of setbacks and errors. I'm not sure it will ever reach $1 due to its nature of the business.
Don't forget that it's a niche specific coin so, it's hard for it to reach to the moon but, still one can earn good profit if bought low.

Okay, so now I have almost 100% profit by holding SIA for three weeks. Quite impressive, too bad I didn't buy more, now I am afraid to buy at this price.

Later Edit: I highly recommend every crypto holder to read a page or two about Sia and it's team, compare this information to any shitcoin (Eth, Ripple, Iota, ..... all the ico shitcoins) and you will see what a real Coin is.

it's a good coin, has the storage features, which is something unique, no other coin has storage like sia, the supply is high but the mining is profitable, since the supply is high you can't expect very high value, i would invest 10% of my saving there and wait for 5000 satoshi at least
