What do you think of the TREZOR Hardware wallets? I'm thinking of getting one and would be interested to hear first hand complaints/compliments. For those who don't have experience with them, does the concept get you excited? I'd personally really like to have my wallet sitting in my pocket - without having to worry about third party wallet companies that could crash or be hacked etc.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Trezor. I've been using mine a couple of months now and I'm really thrilled with it. The one piece of advice I would give is to use a new incognito window in your browser each time you connect to your wallet, otherwise you can be seeing ghosts in your browser cache instead of your true balance. That's the only problem I've had though and if you have the funds, I'd say go for it!

It's absolutely great. You can connect it with Electrum and loads of other wallets so you're not missing anything that other people do, and their own interface is pretty smooth/convenient as well.
If you're not very tech-savvy and you need to feel secure from viruses, physical theft and many other issues, it should definitely be your first choice.
Just keep your seed safely locked up/hidden/buried or use a passphrase. If you want, TREZOR even suggest having a second decoy passphrase which leads to fewer coins and keeps you safe from a five dollar wrench attack.

Agree, but if you like to learn something new, try paper wallets. Its very good method to keep your bitcoin offline and secure. U need to apply physical security then. One thing here, almost none of physical thiefs know what bitcoin is, so they would not take it/swipe it when it would lay in plain sight. |

Yeah, well I was sort of assuming that you wanted to do transactions regularly. Paper wallets are always going to be the best for security as you ideally don't want any connection to the digital world except when you need to take your Bitcoin out to a secondary wallet, but if all you want is a way to feel secure while spending, a TREZOR is a better choice IMO. |

I currently don't have the Trezor Hardware wallet 'cause it's not available here in my country but I asked my cousin to get me one this year. The concept and design of the product does excite me and the fact that it is so handy, its not a hassle I'm sure. Can't wait to get a hold of it. |

You will be hard pressed to find anyone with a negative opinion about the trezor wallet, it is a quality product that in my mind is the best on the market it has everything you may need and more, so if you want to protect your coins trezor is the way to go. |

I bought 4 of them, one for me, one for my friend, one for my friends father and also one, if anybody will need it. It's great, more secure, cold wallet, you canno't do better than if you're doing this.

Yes, Trezor with the firmware update from 1.4.0 version and higher supports eth. With firmware 1.4.2 and more supports and other alts like as Dash and Zcash. |

I bought 4 of them, one for me, one for my friend, one for my friends father and also one, if anybody will need it. It's great, more secure, cold wallet, you canno't do better than if you're doing this.

Read the post, he bought four, one for each of 3 people and one if it is needed in the future, three different people are not going to hold all their money in the same wallet, will you put your cash in someone else’s wallet I guess not. |

For a while some altcoins were available on Nano S but not Trezor but both are pretty equal now. The Nano S is pretty bulletproof if you want to carry your hardware wallet with you to use with your phone. The Nano S also has a two year guarantee compared to one year for Trezor. I like and use both of them. |

They just need physical access to the Trezor device and the PIN code. They can't access the wallet if they don't have the Trezor in hands at the time. Just teach them how to open/use the software and how to send transactions. Or if you want to buy one device for every member of your family, you can use the seed from the first device to import the same wallet in multiple Trezors. |

You can restore your seed using advanced recovery to a second Trezor. You keep one, family has the other. Both have access to same accounts. |
