Hey

I'm in need of an open air case for mining. The only one I've found in Europe is from ethereumminer.eu. However, they take weeks to deliver within Europe and only have a single super basic model

The other places I've found ship from the US, which increases the shipping cost and time significantly. Of course, Ebay and the China/Hong Kong sellers isn't an option since I could be waiting for up to over a month.

Thanks

Hey

I'm in need of an open air case for mining and risers. However, the only one I've found in Europe is from ethereumminer.eu. However, they don't seem to have any "good" powered risers.

The other places I've found ship from the US, which increases the shipping cost and time significantly. Of course, Ebay and the China/Hong Kong sellers isn't an option since I could be waiting for up to over a month.

Thanks

here from Ireland

be careful with riser that have molex connectors.

this sata to molex converters usually have very thin wires that get crazy hot sometimes, which is a fire hazard IMO. If card has 8+6 pins, connect the optional 6 (if you have cables) or take care that you dont draw more than about 150W.

Yes, I've been to that site previously but the boards are out of stock. Only the ribbon cables are available.

Bought alu mining case Zcash (ZEC) Ethereum Crypto mining case Crypto Monster, assembly
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qK9I3zo4qks
The Contact info is in the youtube desciption

Really like it. Nice design and It was 131 euro including shipping from Czech Republic. Took < a week to arrive.
It maybe cheaper to make a (wooden) ghetto case yourself.
Bought F12 Silent fans with it  + power button and fan sata connector.

I recently did a build of the BBT mining case below out of two 8ft pieces of 1/8" x 3/4" angled aluminum, one 8ft 1" x 2" piece of pine and #8 1/2" self-tapping screws.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5xNrlxsCVs

The only tools needed were a drill with a 3/32" hex titanium drill bit to drill pilot holes and a #2 phillips screwdriver bit. A hacksaw with a 32 tooth blade and a plastic miter box to cut the aluminum and wood. It took about 4-5 hours since it was my first time building one. The case is very sturdy and can support up to 7 GPU's. You could also use wood or 1/16" angled aluminum pieces if you want to save money. Way cheaper and quicker than ordering a case online.

Anyone else know of anyone trustworthy here on bitcointalk.org or a shop that make and sell stackable cases?
