You didn't answer my question. How were you planning on using the blackmailed btc for repaying other victims when at the time I didn't even know there were other victims and going through our chat certainly doesn't show anywhere where I said I scammed other people?

Trust me it was way easier to just scam you instead of having the guts to actually pay you back and take fuol responsibility and tell the whole story to you. You decided to take advantage though.

Anyways all this still won't mean I'm not wrong. I still am wrong. And as I said time and time again I made a mistake, I regret doing it and never will do it again.

I won't be replying because it's really not worth your time arguing with a blackmailer who claims that he is a good Samaritan.

James just PM me your btc address so I can repay you.

You had said you lost $150 gambling, and you had said you felt bad about scamming, so obviously you scammed for that $150 lol. I don't know why you are trying to defend yourself, you hacked a mans account to take advantage of other people. Gtfo

I got bryant.coleman's account from an account seller who had been selling hacked accounts.
So would you kindly tell the community who the seller was?

This is the problem with account sales; this is what they lead to.  This is more evidence of the claims I've been making for the past year on this forum, and don't listen to the weasily Quickseller and his ilk who will tell you that there's nothing wrong with it.  There's a lot wrong with it, and account sellers need to be tagged red 'til it hurts.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? I am the real Bryant Coleman, and I just noticed this thread. Lauda gave me negative rep, and it didn't came to my notice as well. Someone here claimed that he hacked in to my account. That is BS. I have checked my inbox/outbox, and there is no sign of anything wrong. No one made posts using my login.

Anyway.... I have changed my password. I have also signed a message using my BTC address.

OK... I found 3 messages in my outbox which were made by some hacker. So my account was hacked earlier.

I have ethereum and I can sell 1.5 to you for 0.087 btc.

Is that okay with you?

You have to send first though since I'm legendary and you're a newbie with 5 posts  Embarrassed

I don't have paxful.

Anyways you either trust me or you don't. I'm not experienced with paxful, could get scammed easily. I'm a legendary member, why the hell would I scam for .087?

And I doubt you can get 1.5 ethereum anywhere else.for 0.087btc.... It's a favor to you basically.

1HqyAU2ZPvtHFmwGRbvXKNu5acdzEkv2AV

Send me 0.029 btc and once that transaction gets a confirmation I'll send you half a ethereum.

Then you send .058 and we do the same thing except 1 ethereum alright?

Someone should have sent me a PM as soon as this thread was posted. I was completely unaware of it, although I noticed strange messages from the user BitCorner. I thought that he was a scammer.

This hack couldn't come at a worse time. I had promised my housemaid that I will pay for her son's hospital expenses, and I was waiting for my signature earnings. Now my sig earnings are gone (BTC0.09) as my trust has turned red. I don't know how I am going to pay her.

Curious. How does this hacking a bitcointalk account even work? It's not like the passwords are stored in a hackable folder or page of this site. Compromising someone's account involves work along the lines of convincing a naive victim to reveal the password but that wouldn't be hacking per se.

It wasn't your fault that your trust turned red. Have you messaged Lauda with the signed message? If yes then they will remove the negative feedback as soon as they could(they seem to be online right now). You should talk to betcoin.ag because this is obviously not your fault imo and hopefully they'll feel the same way and still give you pay.

bryant, you're lucky though that the hacker repaid what he owed. Kudos to him for being a man and correcting his mistake, and hopefully he does not scam again. Otherwise you'll be an extra 0.1 BTC in debt.

I'm 99% sure that this account was hacked via the leaked forum database a while ago. Look at his UID, anything below UID 50000 you should ask a signed message before dealing with them.

Someone please tell me what should I do. The old wallet I was using (1FRzKvLYpMjovJ7fqTYdLa8CvZ9fpSzxmU) is in Blockchian.info.

I tried to send signed message, but since I am not familiar with the process, it ended in failure.

I followed the steps here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1467458.0

And got something like this:

Code:

Your account was used by someone who was trying to scam on your behalf. I think laud will not remove the red feedback as it was the account that was involved in scamming though the scam was un-successful.
Maybe try PMing Lauda and he might think to change it to neutral.

The negative rating is valid on the account until original owner signs a message with an old bitcoin address.

Lauda said this so, Bryant, you should be able to get the neg removed. Pretty sure Lauda is just afk or something like that.

Anyone who's reliant on sig campaign earnings is nailing the coffin shut.  Sorry, I don't buy that story either and it sounds like a typical scam/begging attempt.   Keep that story to yourself,  no offense.

The thing that still boggles me is that why the hell did you leave your trust ratings unmoderated for the past week? the scam accusation was opened a week ago and you should have noticed while you logged in/posted posts. I believe you, personally, but it makes your story seem unlikely, especially with the life and death situation etc. Lauda i think will 100% remove the neg rating as the hacker paid back the victim, but as you said, it really depends on the sig campaign manager.

Also you should have never relied on the sig campaign earnings mate. Even though it wasn't your fault that your account got hacked and stuff, sig campaigns aren't designed as a stable income source.

Thank you so much for the post. I am nervous, because it is now a matter of life and death. I need the sig earnings for hospital expenses (not mine). Let me see if I can convince the sig campaign moderators.

There was no PM regarding the Scam accusation, and I never checks the outbox. At least there should have been a PM before someone gives a negative trust. Somehow I failed to notice what is going on.

I am having a full time job and a stable income, but right now I am going through some financial difficulties.

I had promised my housemaid that I will pay for her son's hospital expenses, and I was waiting for my signature earnings. Now my sig earnings are gone (BTC0.09) as my trust has turned red. I don't know how I am going to pay her.
This got to be one of the worst excuses of all time. Roll Eyes

I tried PMing him, but there is no response.
I am not on-call waiting for your PMs just so I can answer you.

Maybe try PMing Lauda and he might think to change it to neutral.
The message has been verified. As no amount was scammed in the end, I have decided to change it into a neutral rating.

It might sound ridiculous. But if you want, I can send you the bank transfer proof and hospital bill. To be honest, there are other options as well. I can sell a part of my mutual fund holdings.

Sorry for everything. I just got nervous.
