Large euro to Bitcoin trade -- Ireland (Bank transfer or Cash in hand)

Howdy all,
This is going to sound fishy as all hell, but trust me when I say this is legit lol...

My girlfriend has approximately 2500 euros with a friend over in Ireland; she was paying him to help her get her citizenship but decided against it for monetary reasons temporarily. Now the hurdle becomes how do I get the money back without being skullfucked by conversion rates?
Instead of: (Euro) --> (Crappy conversion company) ---> (USD) the conversion doing (Euro) --> (BTC) --> (USD) I make out way better in the end.

So in this deal I would need:
A (I cannot stress this enough) HIGHLY reputable escrow from the forum (John K. level'ish) to hold on to the BTC.
Someone that can give me a pretty decent rate -- I would prefer 1:1 or name me your best offer.
