I'll NEVER quit Altcoins, I'm going down with the ship!   Grin

However, I WILL quit this fud sewer of a forum first chance.

yes, i will never quit earning bitcoin from trading alt coins, trading is one of thre good and fairest way to earn bitcoin. alt coin has a smaller value than bitcoin thats why i like it, i will only quit when all of the good coins will dump and i cant trust any other coin. that would be the reason if ever i quit someday but for me ,its impossible for me to quit alt coins earning, mining and trading

Same here, I will never quit on altcoins. If my favorite altcoins is not mass adopted or was a failure, there are hundreds of altcoins are pon the line to choose from. I do trading, and trading several coins so quitting is not a choice here.

The question is vague on purpose.
I hope the question is provocative and gets people thinking.

For example..
Would you quit the Altcoins thing if ?
- Your favorite coin was never mass adopted.
- You lost a lot of money trading.
- Tough laws were passed making all this far harder to do.
- Bitcointalk shut down.

What would make you quit ?
And you tell us all what "quit" would mean to you.

For example i quit.. but pretty much trading for profit only.
I will quit on one altcoin if the price of altcoins down trend for long time monthly
but doesn't mean I will stop trading altcoins many altcoins will gives good profit,
quit is mean stop lost in trading because the altcoins are just for search profit.

hmm so we have here a celebration of lawless greed.
Since the scene is essentially one massive pyramid scheme how long you think it will last ?

I guess run with the greedy immoral hoards or leave.
Wanting money and not giving a shit how you get are two different things.

Apparently trying to ride the coat tails of what is pumped is the deal and it seems you all think that is acceptable behavior.
So far there has been a lot of losers.. and many more to come.
At this point it's hard to feel sorry for them when the next Cryptsy burns them.

The direction is.. do what ever to make more money.
So the bar will continue to get lower and i did not hear even 1 of you say that concerns you.
On the contrary all i heard is i will keep playing the little game until i go broke.
There was not 1 reply with a shred of morality here guys.

Crypto turned into Doge shit long ago.
Unfortunately i have integrity  Cry

You crack me up man. You never cease to bring a smile to my face,  especially the last line haha.

Should I feel bad for mining bitcoin back in the year dot until  it got too expensive?.... should I feel bad for mining litecoin until it became pointless also?
Should I feel bad for using my bitcoin to buy stuff online while hodling much of it?
Should I feel bad if I no longer could be fucked mining (married,  kids etc) so I choose to now purchase altcoins whose concept I think is great and one day may kick ass in the real world??

It amazes me that I work my ass off IRL on $35 per hour to make ends meet, with no change left....... and now my shitty crypto hobby only needs bitcoin to double again and I'll have 1mil of bank.

Hilarious man.

I just wish the altcoin pumper dumpers would piss off so the true fundamental value of a coin would be reflected on the exchanges. Meh..

Knowingly being a worthless loser leech on crypto like a scavenging rat is not like being an "early holder of Bitcoin"  Roll Eyes

YOU make me laugh with your silly attempt at blurring the lines of morality.
I already have proven countless times i have integrity and you all have none.

It is i who is laughing.  Cheesy

Many of you will be gone and i'll still be here.
It's all great now eh ? but after 2013's big rise there was TONS of losers..
who took a loss and left crypto forever.

You all don't care though.. because you are immoral greedy hoards of nameless and faceless losers who simply showed up here to trade 3 letter ASCII code digital ICO tokens on Poloniex for ROI's.
Which one ? duh.. which ever one is paying out.. like a slot machine.

What makes me laugh ?
None of you can speak or read English.
It's all "Students" and unemployed poor douche bags scrounging for change like bums.
This place use to be a place of intelligence and thoughtful innovation
..now replaced by a bunch of open mouth drooling nitwits.

This forum was not launched as a way to copy cat bitcoin with 1,000's of ICO's to make Bitcoin to dump for FIAT cash money $.. but it is NOW!

You losers showed up and fucked up the forum and the whole scene.
You ruined a good thing and your irritating.. because your idiots and can't carry on a conversation.
About Why we are even here.

One smart guy earlier said the altcoins thing is a "fair" way to get Bitcoins ?
That is raw stupidity.
There is nothing fair about this retarded bullshit scene you guys are perpetuating.

I know for a fact 99% of you will leave penny-less eventually.
I told you what happens when you "let it ride" at the casino.
And what do you all just post here ?
Unanimously you all said you plan on leaving when you are broke.
Yup.. that means you ARE stupid (by definition)

You are laughing at me ?
uhhhmm no profiteers i am laughing at YOU !  Cheesy

You'd have better odd's applying that attitude to regulated gambling with a casino.
vs corrupt rigged scammy altcoin games for ROI's.

Paul Vernon gave you all the middle finger and he has 22 million dollars.
Mark gave you the finger and got around half a billion dollars (worth about 1 billion now)

You guys don't care about the risks and then PRETEND there isn't any..
Then pretend this is legit behavior.
You pretend it's "fair".
You pretend you are anything but a worthless bum leech.

Who do you think you are fooling ?

Altcoins happen because they are permitted.
It's essentially about running thousands of digital pyramid schemes..
And since the law doesn't stop them you carry on like it's ok and acceptable.
It's like stealing and not getting caught so you think it's ok.

I'll be hanging around watching and laughing and saying "I Told You So" again and again like i always have now for 4 years.
Because i am pretty much the last smart one left in crypto .. at least who posts regularly anyway.

The comments amuse my balls off.. one guy posted on this something about profits.
Uhmm kid.. where does your so called "profit" come from ?
Have you given that any thought ?
Seriously how in the hell do you think this shit works ?
You think we all walk into a room with $100 each and EVERY guy walks out with 10k like magic ?
No dumb fuck's ..it means 9 of you are walking out with nothing  Roll Eyes

You are all too fucking stupid to see i have been helping you all along.
So be it.. drown.

Well Spoetnik I've seen you around, read your FUD high quality material but never actually responded to one of your messages but here I go.

I don't believe, as you do (or at least that's what I understood), that all alts are shit, scams and so on. I believe Bitcoin will be replaced by bigger, better things, not now but in time (not calling any names). Cryptocurrencies have potential but indeed, in 10 years 95% of all the cryptos that we have today will be dead and buried. The way Bitcoin gets produced ain't really the best way (too much wasted electricity, computational power and hardware) also the possibility of having big Chinese giants decide whether or not we can upgrade Bitcoin, the monopoly of certain pools, exchanges, all that makes me believe Bitcoin may be worse than many shitcoins out there.

Now, what truly bothers me is this "pyramid scheme" you're talking about. It bothers me because it exists. In the last few days we've seen coins such as ReddCoin, Verge, Bytecoin, Dogecoin, etc. pump as if we were on Yobit. It makes no sense, at all, things with no technological advantage, no intrinsic value, no nothing, being valued so high up as if they were little pieces of gold. These people that invest in shitcoins, they will bring the whole thing down. If we only had a natural growth of a few really good alts and of Bitcoin it would've all been fine.

Right now, everything went berzerk. All the shitty alts get pumped with hundreds of millions of dollars as if this is all a party where everybody wins and all the coins will grow to infinity and beyond. When they'll realize what they've done it will be too late and all those little bubbles will burst, one by one. Problem is that it might turn out to be a domino effect and we'll see every coin go down (more or less).

Maybe I'm wrong but time will tell.

Im not going to quit for the next 10 years anyway here's why, no-one can predict the future.

Here are a few of my examples to the questions asked above.

Would you quit the Altcoins thing if ?

- Your favorite coin was never mass adopted. - Litecoin lay virtually dormant for years, now showing strong activity.

- You lost a lot of money trading. - Dash in the space of a month March it rose from 0.031BTC to 0.117BTC and back to 0.071BTC
but has still not fallen back to 0.031BTC still room for some rises.

- Tough laws were passed making all this far harder to do. - If laws were passed to monitor who is buying in and cashing out
its still blockchain which is hard/difficult to track who is doing what. Buying in and cashing out im sure can be masked

- Bitcointalk shut down. - Virtually impossible to shut down

same to me Smiley

i have been losing my money during altcoin trading but it won't stop me to quit trading but in cryptocurrency world i have no favourite altcoin and probably i would quit from the altcoin thing if there is no mass adopted again for altcoin which mean altcoin will be dead so it's the right time to leave altcoin i guess

This is why I won't quit until I can witness that Smiley
It would be a sad day if I missed it !

I will also quit when bitcoin is at $500 000.-
Then I buy a few houses for my kids with the few coins I bought in order to buy some VPS service a while ago Smiley

If the majority choose a path there is nothing i can do.
It is what it is.. i don't think i will save the world  Cheesy

It is worth mentioning there is consequences in life though.
And what i say is proven by all your collective actions and comments here.

There has never been talk of "using" Ethereum.
Just endless rabble about how much it's worth.
Or some tidbit of BS news that will.. make it worth more.

In other words the majority wear their motivations on their sleeve and can't hide it.

And if you don't hold the peoples feet to the fire they get carried away..
Then the consequences..

So i guess i am saying for me ? It's "morality" that would make me quit.
Money is a secondary thing.. close maybe but defiantly not my #1 concern.

And i am not trying to be the one holding your feet to the fire people
Just trying to point out it might be good to consider all sides of things and see what will benefit you and your ROI's and all of crypto as a whole.

I don't need to run a poll to tell you all the bubble will pop.. the majority KNOWS it !
There could have been an alternative going on.. the same money being pumped in but..
From natural growth and real world currency adoption.

I keep telling you all mass adoption would make us rich.
The honest road would pay large !
And everyone is like uhhh well, meh.. what ever.. who cares.
Then they see every coin shoot up right now and get a big hard-on.
Well..
Mass global currency adoption by real people would be far higher coin pumps guys.
You are clapping your hands at peanuts & chump change.

But hey.. you all know better ? Then so be it.. good luck with that.

I will only quit when there's no internet or electricity in the world to run cryptocurrencies, I'm a diehard cryptocurrency enthusiasts and so it wouldn't be easy for me to quit on the face value of a minor issue.

Whether i agree or not i appreciate the feedback people.
I learned that you are far more resilient and determined than i realized.
I'm not sure what i expected here with the replies but i am stunned at the consensus.
In a way it reminds me of a bunch of pirates dead set on file sharing who refuse to give up.

i started reading lots of about space lately. seems something i missed in past. There for sure are other things interesting beside crypto.
