With consideration of Power Cost and also the Cost of the card, which option has better ROI?

1. Single 1080Ti
2. multi RX (470 or 480), 3 or to one 1080TI?

3. consideration of near future GPU mining that support more on nVidia or AMD?

Thanks for the expert sharing and hope this clear the way to start a more profitable mining.

Electricity cost at 0.15 per kWh.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

for now 1080ti can roin in two months, i don't know the amd situation but it's not better than nvidia, nvidia is very good at skein and sia, but amd can dual mine sia with ETH, i still think nvidia is better, the 1080ti will hold a good value for gamers, they like strong gpu

Just want to point out that Nvidia cards also are able to dual mine ETH and SIA. Though it has less hash rate for ETH, my GTX 1080 still earn more per day mining ETH and SIA than ZEC.

Put half your money in each if possible. Rx series for memory bound algos, Nvidia for compute algos.

That's good to hear!

Not to threadjack but 6 1070's vs 4 1080Ti - which would be better?

For zcash

1070 = 450 sols at 60% power limit
1080ti = 620sols at 60% power limit

Depreciation wise, we can assume both these gpus will depreciate at least 1 tier in gpu performance after a year.
1070 = $200 - $250
1080ti = $400 - $500

Lastly, rig density is better for 1080ti. I went with 1080ti because my apartment is tiny, but 1070 is good if space is no issue.

Can help to guide the right script for claymore dual mine for ETH and SIA?

And which pool is best recommended?

Thanks

OK, I tried and found the Claymore discussion

Now test run the GTX970 to see how it does comparing to just use Nicehash GUI.

Thanks

how much you earn in dual mine with eth plus sia? ism't just better to mine sia or hush with nvida, the earning should be more, but i didn't do the mat

it is like that on skein almost $400 per month with that gpu, but it won't last i know, still it should earn $300 easily each month, roi will not be more than 3 months anyway

Skein algo on any coin or a specific coin? Can you point me towards a pool? I was about to order a 1080Ti for ZCash but I have been hearing about Skein as well everywhere for 1080Ti.

 ETH is a rather low-profit choice for NVidia cards compared to many of the other options they're good at, as is ZEC at this time.

 I was mining on theblocksfactory for their DGB-Skein and DGB-Groetsl pools for a few days, and also tried the suprnova related pools - it's a bit iffy though given the VERY small net hashrates on all of the options for mining DGB (it's a multi-algo coin like Myriad).
