It’s natural for any coin like Eth even bitcoin to undergo price correction but this price correction doesn’t mean it will go down as what the normal price has been instead it is much higher than it was. Also, Eth is accepted and backed up by a lot of people but still Bitcoin reigns all of the cryptocurrencies.

Thats I think also that ethereum coin is replace bitcoin in the future but it will not today and many years. But no one can tell if the ethereum will still alive or die after few years because everything is possible to happen. I think this the right time to buy ethereum because if you see the peice of ether is very big and i believe this year 2017 they will increase the price again. Buy ether now before its too late . Dont wait price very high. Buy now and earn profit later.

Ethereum will never replace bitcoin. They're fundamentally different in numerous ways.

That's not to say it can't be bigger, but there's no way it fulfills the same purpose for a lot of people.

I can definitely see ethereum going up in the long run however it has competition with ETC. Personally I believe that a hacker who hacked the infrastructure of a network shouldn't be the reason why a block chain is reset. Still though more and more people seem to be switching to using eth as the transaction fees are way lower. Some ICOs are even accepting exclusively ethereum. The only thing that is standing in eth's way to achieve more than bitcoin market cap is its centralisation, or its bad public image of being a centralised coin.

Yea.. ETH is probably one of the best investments long term. I can easilly see it hitting $1,000 in a couple years time. If you got the extra funds, invest in ETH. I'm pretty sure it will go up. Just not sure how quickly

I think 0.10BTC is possible for ETH but don't buy at the current pump, wait for next correction so that you can buy cheaper and hold them for really long time.

My opinion too! Most people buy during pumping and when the coin get drop out of panicking, they will sell at loss. The best time to buy a coin that have a good sign of investment is buying at discounted price and sell at retail price again. Eth will touch $500 before the end of this year and those that has long term investment view will benefit from it.

I was thinking that ETH should have stronger ground after consensus/conference.
There should be still a good chance for ETH to rise.
Especially after many waves/rise in 2017.
it is not easy to reach current price.

Long term ETH will go up but it should calm down now for 2 reasons, first it has already pumped so much so fast and second it has attained a big marketcap already. The bigger the marketcap the more limited the fast growth possibilities are because there is only so much money going in to crypto on a daily basis.

Long term however I think ETH will eventually surpass bitcoin by a mile unless bitcoin moves really fast on some of its current problems.
