Hello guys,

İ was following the forum for some time and did manage to put some money together to build a mining rig here's my hardware.

MSI z170a pro carbon

6x sapphire rx580 pulse 8gb

Intel g4560

4gb ddr4 ram

120gb ssd

thermalake thoughpower dps g1200w

So here's my issiue. After updating bios to latest version and installing mixed drivers i got 6 cards detected with some tweaks on bios. But now everytime i boot windows system just goes into blackscreen with backlight after  10-15 seconds and sometimes it detects random number of cards(which i can fix by rebooting the system).

Can it be just a case of lacking memory ? if so is 8gb enough ?

Can integrated graphics virtual memory setting cause this ?

any suggestion is welcome at this point thanks Smiley

You arent saying if the screen goes black after BIOS splash or not. Drop back down to 1 card, disable 4g decoding, install 1 card at a time, only enable 4g decoding when it's needed (after you've installed the 5th and have already gotten code 12).

Make sure your BIOS is up to date.

Screen goes black after what is seems to be a successful windows boot , i get to see the desktop mouse and everything. After 10-15 seconds mouse freezes then comes the black screen.
Yes checked the BIOS version and it is up to date.

I will try installing cards 1 by 1 as you said later today.
