My cold wallet coins till this day are still untouched, and I will not touch any of them in the coming years. I have a seperate bag of funds and coins that I use to trade the volatility. All profits made in BTC will directly flow into my cold wallets - I almost never cash out to fiat, as in having the money sent to my bank. For now I secured 10% profits between $2100-$2110, let's see where we go now. I do expect a small dip to occur.

I don't think that price will fall to extreme level now and even if it falls it won't go that low where you can buy huge amount of bitcoins so if you have a spare money and if you can hold your bitcoins for a long term with good patience then you can afford to buy them even at the current price as price will go even higher in future so even if you buy now you will be making good profits from it in long term.

if by extreme levels you mean $500 or $1000 then no it is never going to happen but a simple dip also known as a correction can happen, lets say something happens and price dips to $1900 that is a 10% drop and you can call it extreme too. and a good chance to make a good short term profit.

Yes we may see certain level of drop in the price in coming days and if that happens then that would be the best time to collect maximum number of coins as price can bounce back again and in that case it will give you an opportunity of making good profits in short term so it would be better to wait and watch and see how price moves on in next couple of days.

Are you kidding mate? How can you say that we can assure profit while you buy a coin at its high price? This is the riskiest method but still can be profitable if you choose a right coin to invest, The best coin fitted for this method are BTC, Eth, and Waves. Only solid coin can be fitted on this.

If you do buy now it is very expensive i think it is better to do trading than buy and sell of bitcoin because if you do buy bitcoin there are fee's like in my country you can't buy bitcoin that accurately with preev.com it always had 5% fee of bitcoins so i decided to earn bitcoin not to do buy and sell.

I  think its much better if you want to sell, just a small portion of your bitcoin and not sold in just one dump. At least if there is a correction price you can still buy at low price and the portion of did not touch will still remain intact until the price goes up and sell some portion again.

You know what? let the smart people accumulate coins on top of coins and you stay a spectator, this ain't any panic buying rather a strong accumulation phase I believe done either by governments around the world of their agents. It's easy to tell people buy low / sell high but nobody tells you when 'low' or 'high' is. People sometimes wait too long hoping for a correction & an opportunity to buy low but the price goes up instead. Just buy what you can arford to, when you can afford to.

Throughout bitcoin's lifetime there has been only one guarantee - a rising price over time.

I am also of this feeling.

There is absolutely no reason the price should be going up this fast and this long. Japan, lack of withdrawals from exchanges, blah blah blah....

The run up from 1250 has been a big feedback loop and I'm sure wales are just adding fuel to this fire.

If someone could point to some institutional investors, hedge funds, or governments buying up BTC in the last month I would concede that we entered a new phase. This doesn't seem to be the case.

Look through this forum or reddit...the amount of comments saying "this will be 5k, 10k in no time" is a signal of the frenzied state of mind people are currently in.

Just to be clear, I am a HLODer for the long term, but I cannot think this will be too healthy of BTC in the short run.

Don't even try riding the waves unless you're a pro.
Don't use stop-losses they will kill your account.

You are already making a few percent a week with this volatility so don't get greedy and just go safe and hodl.

I agree with you price will fall but everytime i think of selling some bits price rises so i wait and in few days price suddenly crashes.The only safest thing to do if you want to profit is HODLING

In my opinion, even if I can sell high I just don't do it. I will just wait bitcoin prise at it's low key or I will wait the price to crash. At that juncture, when the price crash, I will buy as much as I can and even if my money can afford it to buy more bitcoin. Yeah its good to buy them in small parts if you feel that current price is too high to make an investment as whatever money you will invest in bitcoin it will only give you good results in future so I am buying it at regular time intervals so that I can make huge profits from it by selling when the price of bitcoin will increase.

It is really not that comfortable to invest anything at this value because i really do feel the risk is too high to make any bait .I would rather invest in new ICO and alt coins and would rather convert them to bitcoin rather than investing it in bitcoin.To start investing in bitcoin either i have to see a correction if not it is really difficult to trust this price.

In your example you're more referring to occasional trading, but your example is more or less buying low and selling high.

I am more an occasional trader waiting for larger movements that will trigger me to open and close positions. I always wait at least for a price 40-50% higher/lower in order to take action.

Honestly in my own opinion its really hard to decide if we sell few of our bitcoin or buy more bitcoin because the price is crazy increasing. that is why better to do nothing or buy more bitcoins than selling your bitcoin because you will lose opportunity to gain a good profit if the price will increase continuesly.

Low: 2101 USD
High: 2277 USD

Trading can be
* Short-term
* Medium and/or
* Long-term

The (updated) current price is close to the high of '2277' and in all three time frames (in the future) we will see lower prices for at least a short time.
Any plan which includes "100% Hold" ignores a clearly established history of extreme moves in both directions.

I don't like the idea like that. Just hold it if by any means you don't need to use your bitcoin at the moment. That's only the wiser thing to do if you really believe that bitcoin will just move forward since we have reason to believe in that kind of belief.

Price crash to the extent that it will reached back again at 3 digits is likely will not happen because basis why it will not happen are very strong. In the first place, who will sold when the price is increasing. That is not a wise thing to do. Better just go with the flow without attempting to sold but of course never able to break your limit once the waves pull back.

4k would be too much higher to assume atm as heading over there seems difficult seeing these panic sells and many getting out taking their "profits" and some stops triggered. I never expected bitcoin to get back this low before touching $3000 in US markets, but I guess we didn't see that high at our places unfortunately. And noobs are called noobs because they are "not-confident" much about bitcoins and many of these noobs have sold it for profits only because even a 10% gain for them would be wondrous.
