Depends on the fee you're paying. If you pay a high enough fee so your transaction is included in the next block, ethereum might be faster with 10 min. Ethereum fees are currently lower than bitcoin, bu right now the fees for both are way to high for my likings.
Why are you asking this? Are you not sure on what to se?

I use regular fee on Bitcoin and and lately it takes 2-3 days and still unconfirmed which is very annoying. is it the same with Ethereum ? i consider move my coins there if it's faster.

No need to pass to Ethereum and move your coins there. Always consult with this website which is the best to tell you what fees you should use so that your transaction is included in the next block and is confirmed 10 min to 1 hour max. https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Both can be fast, depending on what fees people pay.
For the same fee, Ethereum is much faster. However, I would argue that any cryptocurrency will be faster than Bitcoin when its transaction volume has reached a limit, even an identical clone of Bitcoin.
It won't be the same after Bitcoin implements scaling.

What is faster transaction Bitcoin or Ethereum ?
Ethereum is faster and cheaper than bitcoin which can take days and can take lots of fees escpecially nowadays where the numbero f unconfrimed transaction reaches 200k easily. But this mess is not happening in ethereum because there are many blocks mined within a minute which is more often than bitcoin which can takes many minutes to an hour.

It depends on the level of security you are looking for. Bitcoin is nearly instantaneous if you don't require any confirmations. If you do require confirmations, keep in mind that it takes many Ethereum confirmations to equal the security of a single Bitcoin confirmation.

ETH's normal fee is about 4-5 cents per transaction. However, if you think that's much, you can chose to pay a very low fee, like <1cent, and wait for a few mins instead (1-2). You can find around the web some trolls telling how expensive ethereum transactions are, pointing to average transactions. What they forget to mentions is that these are complex transactions within dapps/smart contracts. And most of these dapps are not efficiently programmed, their cost could be reduced by up to 98% from case to case, according to vitalik https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/6c1jui/delegatecall_forwarders_how_to_save_5098_on/

Even though as at today, I am still pissed at the amount of time it takes for btc transaction to confirm that does not mean it should be compared with ETH simply because of the fact that they are not operating on the same level considering the number of people involved in both currencies. Until the people involved are same then the two can be compared in other to determine which one is faster of the two.

It's obvious ethereum is going to be faster confirmed and have lower transaction fees compared to Bitcoin. I use ethereum and litecoin for gambling because they confirm faster and at lower fees especially litecoin..

Yes but not a big difference in bitcoin and ethereum they are almost the same in the transaction speed in the blockchain and also they are almost have the same fees but i guess the ethereum is more faster than bitcoin in my experience today i guess the bitcoin ia crack in the blockchain.

If you do not want to pay ridiculously high fees for a Bitcoin transaction, Ethereum is way faster.
But if you do have enough money for the fees for BTC you could go with that;-)

Any coin is faster than Bitcoin transactions these days. Even with 220 sats per byte, it still takes hours to get a confirmations while in ETH, if transactions are sent with a lower fee, I am able to send the same transaction again with a higher fee and the transaction gets confirmed in max 15 minutes. Also, ETH now too charges 0.001 fee that can become expensive with the price increasing rapidly.

What is faster transaction Bitcoin or Ethereum ?
I think we cannot recognize what transactions really rises on both bitcoin and ethereum because they both depends from blockchain network. I know sometimes ethereum beats bitcoin transaction to much faster processing depending on the network traffic on confirmation. Also with bitcoin transactions that's also experienced making it faster than ethereum, they both have an alternate competition of fastest transactions made; but we couldn't find the data of actual numbers of their fastest transactions made.

I don't know who to believe, you (a known ethereum advertiser who is known for spreading misleading information) or what I see on block explorers! here is poloniex ethereum wallet: https://etherscan.io/address/0x32be343b94f860124dc4fee278fdcbd38c102d88none of the tx fees seem to be anything lower than $0.12 to $0.16 and when I search more on blockexplorers with more information such as average tx fee per transaction in a longer period they say of fees around $0.45
