Hi there

Beginner here looking for help with a transaction. It has been unconfirmed for about 5 days now and I have just figured out that it is because of a low fee. I am using electrum and the fee is 50.262 sat/B. The total I have sent is 0.1 BTC and the size is 191 bytes.  Is there any way I can speed it up or increase the fee?? It's quite urgent.

You transaction are not confirmed due to very low fees as the current fees i more then 200 sat/kb and below this all transaction are pending and after some time you will get the refund.

If you want you can check this link where you will get full details about how to solve the unconfirmed transaction soon.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0, in this link you will get full details

There was some kind of acceleration service/website around whichwould speed up the process if your payment didn't go through for a long time.

I'm not sure how it was called, maybe someone can link it for you.

You could try this service at the start of every hour, but it's difficult to get in the 100 free slots an hour it allows.

If you have any change left over from your transaction in your wallet you can do a child pays for parent transaction to speed it up. There's a guide here.

To avoid these slowdowns in the future, be sure that you are running the most recent version of Electrum with the Dynamic Fees feature enabled in the Preferences. This is default in the most recent installations.

Used the transaction accelerator and it's finally gone through! Updated to the latest Electrum and won't be letting this happen again. Thanks all for your help.
