Poloniex is the worst platform

This is so sad to see happening at polo. I have had minor intermittent issues in the past but these last two weeks or so it has become almost unbearable. I recently withdrew most of my BTC from the platform because I am starting to see the same ready flags as other users although my BTC was in my wallet within 30 minutes. Even worse is that the support staff either do not reply or they talk to you like your money is not important haha

Their servers were even having "DDOS" and people couldn't withdraw their buy and sell orders so somebody filled them....
Unfortunately there is a low chance that there will be an ideal exchange as all of them are not secure for trading.

In the troll box they just say that 42k people online is too much traffic! Well, if you want to provide service that big, be prepared!

True. I have noticed that delay on every coin, not just Ethereum. I have a long-waiting (2 days) deposit of Ripple that seems to take forever. I just wish they don't turn into Cryptosy. If they keep going like that, I am going to move to Bittrex.

Something similar happen to me but few month ago i waited 2 days for confimation on my BTC depozit and then 3 days for withdrawal to another adsress. Back then they update security and no one give so much noise, but this is becoming more and more not just on mentioned coins. Seem they have issues that are trying to resolve.

The same experienced happens on my first deposit there are so many complaint on polo. The support also makes it worst i will never try this exchange site again

The problem in poloniex is their Withdrawal and Deposit issue such us the reasons are being big exchanges having lot's of big traffic that needed to watch it after the server overload also plus the DDOS ATTACKER that making polonoec being log and the would have again problem

Poloniex has the best platform imo, but their background system wasn't prepared for handling all the new people flocking to crypto. They did a shitty job preparing for all this. Despite that they have the most liquidity and their platform is very easy and intuitive to use.

What you really mean is they have the worst service with obviously not enough support staff.

I hope deposits are very fast when compared to withdrawals I don't know what happened to them. Previously Polo is very accurate in withdrawals but everything will be normal in coming days. According to them already Crypto Currency has been increased maybe it creates some problems for them.

It is because too many people are using their platform, and the growth happened too suddenly and they can't cope.

There are other platforms people can use: ETH is traded on GDAX, Kraken, bittrex, BTC-E and loads of other places.

Spread your trading around people, that way you won't miss on moves just because one platform is jammed due to too many people logging in.

took me over 30 hrs last time for BTC withdrawal, I am glad to hold $0.00 on that exchange. I haven't made a trade in months on poloniex

Their infrastructure is currently terrible but their UI is amazing and that is the only reason I still use them though admittedly I've moved most of my transactions already to bittrex now.

At least you don't have a fake margin trade that you cant cancel so loan fees take out your entire bitcoin
So painful Id rather wait for withdrawal, I am losing money by second and support not respond in 1 month...

Sometimes waiting sucks our patience because everyone will attract only when the support systems are active perfectly. If they keep on delaying many people will lose hopes on this exchanges if they keep on delaying like this.

I agree, it is the worst platform.

I have GNT withdrawal in "Awaiting Approval" state for 4 days.

Can't cancel, stuck in position. 

I contacted them 3 times already. no response.

For the amounts we are talking about, it is not OK to just not contact customer for 4 days.
