In the absence of a specific statement of intent by the bomber, some Muslim apologists argue that bombings like this are a reaction against recent abuse and incursion of Middle Eastern nations by Great Britian. Thus, they argue, "Britian deserved it." That's saying in the absence of war, in peacetime, one should go slaughter innocents. By this logic Germany today should be attacking the United States.

My suggestion that the tactics used by the bomber of fear and intimidation at the music concert are strictly due to draw attention to non-Sharia compliant activities seems much more straightforward and logical.

Christians used to have the same view of their religion and yet they managed to reform their religion into what you see today. Maybe it helped that the New Testament don't have as much violent passages like in the Old? I read that in the Koran the more violent verses are near the end and with some gymnastics on their abrogation principle they can claim it's a religion of peace will also claiming that later revelations, while not negating those that have come before, are still much better.

Don't bring the Crusades into this. It was a response to the Byzantines' plea for help against the Muslims chipping away at their territory. Had the help come a few decades earlier, the result would have been different. Had Muslims not been there, there would have been no reason for the crusaders to be there either. Of course it also have some sectarian and political aspects to it (crusaders realizing that the Byzantines don't really see it as a holy war).

This was after the concert. People were all leaving the stadium. Security is more focused on making the people leave orderly. They were not checking for people coming in coz, after all, the concert was over.

This is something that I've said for awhile, the worlds a changing and there is nothing we can do but try to stop these deadly attacks from happening again. You must change the world, but we shouldn't allow the number of attacks to somehow normalize it in the least and we should always take these attacks with the highest degree of sadness and hope to be able to change something in the world to stop this from occurring again.

Who knows how to stop it though, it's one of those things that's tough if the people are homegrown - the only thing you can do is surrender some of your freedoms to the government for them to watch over and ATTEMPT to find a terrorist that is homegrown, though even then that may not work.

All these problems and issues could be solved easily but, unfortunately, our governments are either too incompetent or too corrupted (either morally by left-wing ideology or financially). All we need to do is to take Japan's example. Why there has never been an Islamic terrorist attack in Japan until now? For one simple reason: Japan has reduced contacts with the Islamic world to the minimum. And immigration policies are pretty strict in Japan. Foreigners are welcome, but they have to behave in compliance with Japanese society's rules and customs.

No need to indulge in blame game here. The European don't know when the next attack will occur. There was no prior information from the intelligence department regarding the attack in Manchester, so the security personal didn't took any additional precautions.
