The teams with titles of "Bitcoin" and Bitcoin Killers" that i mentioned in the first post.... we have already passed them by a huge margin. With a little more participation, and a few more rewards / bounties, i think we can blow away team "Intel". It wont happen overnight, but it could if everyone pointed their miners to folding for a few days.... after that we go in for the kill and top the charts and beat team "overclockers.net" and "www.overclockers.com"

Maybe im being over optimistic. Maybe im not. The math of the bitcoin network speed vs the entire folding@home network speaks for itself.

Time for me to finalize the next round of bounties. Within a week i will release a new set of bounties. Ill be reaching out to others who want to donate or personally sponsor bounties.

Id love to see someone with some bitcoins to spare, stop and take a look at this, and post a bounty of 5 BTC to be the first member of team "Cryptocoin Network" to reach 10,000,000 points

Soon we will have a good idea of proper reward amounts, so check back in a week if your not ready to sponsor a bounty just yet.

Either way this would create a great race of many gpus pushing our team to the top. This could create much positive media hype that will make your BTC value increase, so you investment will be well worth it.

Small additional bonus bounty - Community based bounty
Tomorrow morning if there is a total of 20 or more people in the team with minimum 1 work unit done, all of you will have the option to claim a portion of 60 Freicoins. Bonus will be given out as 60 coins / 20 people equals 3 FRC each. If there is 30 people with a completed work unit, ill split 60 / 30 and everyone will receive 2 FRC. tomorrow morning for me is about 12 hours away. This means, encourage your friends to fold atleast one WU.

Sorry for reading this quickly. Is this automated or manually distributed coins?

Hopefully the foundation as it forms at FRC can come here observe and hopefully if there was some sort of client or app that could be open source and forked from Github more people could become "faucets" or if you can set this up more as a P2P set up then there would be no need to have one person or group doing the distributions.

I will be putting some the PC at home into this. Thanks for this!

I just joined your discussion group on freincoin.org tonight. Im impressed with the freicoin community and their initiative to help make this all happen.

Right now this is all manual payout. Ive been refreshing the team page constantly and watching points roll in for team "Cryptocoin Network". Only refreshing it so much for my own entertainment of the growing team. The stats pages give me enough info to give proper payouts. As of now to claim bounties you can either message me or post your coin address here with the bounty you are claiming. Unless you have your coin address in your signature, and use same name here on forum as on folding network. Then there is no need to request, you will get your payment once i see your name hit a current bounty.

At this rate it wont take very long to climb that ranks. We could use a few more people to point even just 1 card or 1 cpu at the project. you can even donate as little as 25% usage of on CPU, which should not effect your mining at all

It's been almost a year since I last folded...

1 overclocked GForce GTX560Ti (est. 31500 PPD) and 1 overclocked 12-threaded 4.2GHz i7 CPU (est. 46300 PPD) are pointed to the team.
The nVidia card is my primary display adapter and was used for some supplemental Bitcoin mining @98MHs, which is not really great any more. Tried it with scrypt, but cgminer keeps crashing.
The CPU is really good for LTC scrypt, giving me 80Khs, so I'll only run it against F@H for only one WU.

I was trying their latest clinet - 7.3.6, but had to downgrade to my previously-installed 7.1.52. The latest client has a nasty feature, called Web-interface. As soon as you launch the client, it will fire up FireFox and that in turn causes the clocks on my primary adapter to drop from 1000MHz to the safe 800MHZ and locks it there. Closing Firefox does not allow me to set the clock back up, so the only option was to reboot. I was only able to avoid GPU clock drop if I was fast and closed FireFox before it completely launched, and then right-clicked the FAH icon in the tray and chose Advanced view.

EDIT: Upgraded back to 7.3.6 and disabled HW acceleration for Flash in FireFox.

EDIT 2: There is something wrong with the new client. As soon as it starts computing the WU, GPU core clock drops to 405MHz, even when no overclocking is previously applied, and can only be budged from there by a reboot. At which point the client forgets that it should be using GPU with id 2, and reverts to -1 setting, picking one of my AMD cards mining for LTC. Once I force-set the GPU to id 2, it reinitialises WU, losing previous progress.  I think I am giving up on F@H after I am done with that CPU WU.

Wow, you must be another nvidia owner? this is quite to race!!!! Grats , for a second i didnt think anyone was gonna be able to do it, but this is exactly what i wanted to see. Fun competition that might just help people out some day.

I've noticed, that my hd6850 can fold and simultaneosly mine litecoin for 75% of its normal speed wheras the hd7770 loses 30%hashrate and 40% folding speed when I try to combine them.

I've noticed that despite running at a lower memclock the 6850 has 128GB/s memorybandwith vs 72GB/s for the 7770.

Has anyone experienced similar effects? What about folding and SHA mining?
