Hello fellow miners,  Cheesy

First of all I want to say hello and I am new to the bitcoin mining process. When running the cgminer with .bat file I get errors saying that it cant find any of my GPU's. My mining rig specs are:

OS: windows 7 ultimate (64 bit)
APU: AMD A10-5800k w/ Radeon HD 7660D
GPU: HD 6670
*At the moment I am running in Crossfire mode

miner: cgminer 3.1.0
AMD APP SDK v2.4

I use a .bat file to run the miner: "cgminer.exe -o http://stratum.triplemining.com:3334 -u okenko_okenkoT1 -p A"

Sad ISSUE: I tried running the cgminer.exe -n and got the following---------------------
[2013-05-01 22:13:33] CL Platform 0 vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

[2013-05-01 22:13:33] CL Platform 0 name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing

[2013-05-01 22:13:33] CL Platform 0 version: OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1124.2)

[2013-05-01 22:13:33] Error -1: Getting Device IDs (num)
[2013-05-01 22:13:33] clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable

[2013-05-01 22:13:33] 0 GPU devices max detected
[2013-05-01 22:13:33] USB all: found 9 devices - listing known devices

[2013-05-01 22:13:33] No known USB devices
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did a some research and tried the following:
- download and tried 2.4 and 2.5 AMD SDK (base on the readme that came with miner)
- tried different configuration to see if that would fix problem
- disabled dedicated (6670) card and tried running cgminer

NOTE: Just for those who may have a similar problem I managed to fix it. I ended up removing all AMD drivers and utilities. Then reinstalling everything just using drivers and utilities that came with the motherboard and GPU box

Honestly, I dont know if it is worth the power consumption. Check this site: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

Thanks for the replies...

Honestly, I dont know if it is worth the power consumption. Check this site: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

I can see what you are talking about...However, I still want to try mining with what I have (since this is my main daily computer), to get a feel for the whole bitmining scene before investing in more efficient setups

for some reason cgminer 3.1.0 is not doing me any good. 50% lower hashrate. i'm using 7950. reverted back to 3.0.1

I tried your advice of using a older version and still no luck...I am starting to think that maybe my grapics card set-up is causing problems

More INFO: I forgot to mention, that I tried running the cgminer before just using the APU and it gave me an average of 100Mh/s. But then I installed the dedicated GPU (HD 6670) after (I assumed it wouldnt casue problems). Is it possible this would have caused my cgminer to stop working properly?

Guys, try using a different pool.
Triplemining. com not has a lot of random tech problems. It also has an incredible high variance. See the pool stats thread.
Te operator of triplemining seems to be keeping a lot of blocks for himself!
Change pool guys!

Actually I agree, cgminer is one of the best miners out there.
You better place it to work a a different pool though!
