I originally used my account two years ago, thought it was safe to store money there. Also BTC-E told me then its safe leave BTC and coins there.

Now when i try to get support, i receive this:

Your BTC-e account was blocked automatically after 1 calendar year of inactivity. This was done as a security measure to protect your funds against potential hacking.
To unblock it, you must provide verification documents and other information.

Go to https://support.btc-e1.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit/ and submit a ticket to department Account > Account Banned
Your ticket must contain the text “Requesting to unsuspend an inactive account according to BTC-e Rules https://btc-e.com/page/1, p. 9.10”

When creating the ticket, please, attach the following documents for verification:
(1) Scans of your IDs (passport or another national ID displaying your personal information and address (if applicable) and a utility bill in .jpg or .pdf formats.
(2) Detailed information about your deposits and withdrawals in Crypto currencies – a screenshot (.jpg or .pdf) of your local or on-line crypto wallet (or a mining account, or another similar electronic wallet) displaying deposits and withdrawals to/from BTC-e.
Important: We will not accept screenshots, links or txids from blockchain.
Only a screenshot must be provided.
(3) Detailed information about deposits and withdrawals in FIAT (USD, RUB, EUR, etc) and BTC-e codes including:
o Payment system (International Wire transfer, Yandex, Okpay, etc);
o Your account/ e-wallet number in this payment system;
o Date of payment;
o Exact amount of payment;
o Transaction ID from within this payment system
o BTC-e code can be provided in text format.

We will check your ticket within 24 to 72 hours.

When I did made a ticket and provided information (at lest that which i have, never made any screenshots or so (They never told me to do so...) they simply reply with the same text:

Then I complained that they send me the same text over and over again, they just send the same text again.... I got a little frustrated and ask them to give me access to my account and they simply repoly with the same text over and over again.

Is this BTC-E Company going to be Cryptsy 2.0? I lost big time money at Cryptsy when they got "hacked".

I just want to see how my coins are doing after those years... Huh

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It's never safe to store Bitcoin on an exchange for longer than the time that you're using it for trading.  If you thought otherwise, you were deluded.

You can complain as much as you like, but they won't budge.  Here's how it plays out for most other people on here who make scam accusations against BTC-E:

-BTC-E ask for ridiculous verification measures which most people can't do, even after alternative methods of proof are given

-If people fulfill their crazy demands, they start closing and ignoring tickets

-People complain a lot and they let you withdraw again.

So just complain a lot, basically.

Thanks for your reply, I was stupid to store Bitcoin at their (and other) platforms...what was I thinking... Huh

So the only thing left for me to do is launce my complain campaign. I see a lot of keywords in Google keyword planner for inspiration. I will make this my new hobby...until I gain access again.

Hi dutchcoins,
I have exactly the same problem and I can't sleep in night because of that Sad. I never suppose that we got to fullfill that demands to get our coins. I delivered them informations that know only I and I hope it's enough. I want to believe is only temporary problem, but if something change in your situation please inform here or PM and I will do the same.

Hi man, i feel bad for you. But we will get our coins back and gain access to the accounts. I just discussed this issue with my attorney and she said send them a final notice.

For now I think its just a messed up support mailfunction, just like at the Cryptsy platform (I lost many..many...many ...thousands of dollars there  Angry)  )

We keep in touch man, don't stress to much because we will gain access eather way.

Thanks for good words Smiley I read about same situations and they describe support as helping and they unblocked their accounts, so probably is as you said.

I know how you feel with loss, I had big ammounts on mt.gox Wink

Has anyone received a reply from BTC-e regarding this issue? I submitted a request a week ago with the required files to unblock (due to inactivity) and the ticket remains open with no reply.

I tried to unlock a suspended account too, posted my documents to https://my.xbtce.com and waited weeks.

I got a message back
"Your verification documents have been rejected!

I looked in my account for the explanation:

Administrator's Comment:   
"For ewallet verification you have to upload copies of ID card and Utility Bill/ Bank Statement that are duly certified by a trusted referee / notary. Also verification of source of wealth is required - last 3 months’ pay slips, or Confirmation from Employer of income and bonuses for last 2 years, or Bank Statements that clearly show receipt of the most recent 3 months’ regular salary payments from the named employer, or Latest accounts if self-employed."

These guys are not serious, who in their right mind would post confirmation of income etc?
All I want is access to my wallet at a different site btc-e.com!

It looks like btc-e is a scam after all, I cannot gain access either, too many hoops to jump through!

4. Payments:
1. Withdrawals to Paxum are now available in USD and EUR

Just to elaborate

This verificationprocess occcured just before btc-e.com shut down.
I had logged in, changed my password and then my accout was suspended, so i contacted support.
The verification was rejected a few days ago.

Since then, hoping that accounts would be available again, I tried to log into btc-e.nz.
I changed my password as requested, but then a message came up, that my account was suspended.
I do hope that they unsuspend all accounts.

I have the same probleme for logging in since btc-e.nz. It looks they suspended some Accounts with balance on it.

Same problem.
I followed the steps and my account remained suspended.
No contact support.
Till sofar I fully onderstand the FBI.
No support, contact or anything else is a behavior shameless, like cowards

Advice is welcome

Accounts that were blocked before 25.07.2017 (when you enter the website you see a message “Your account has been blocked. Please contact the support”).
Accounts for which an email change is necessary.
Accounts where 2fa must be removed.

Lets hope that wew all get a soloutin soon.

A secure password and usernane was required to secure the website, if they had concernd then 2FA Yubikey would have been the was forward.

These new trems have been imposed upon us, no one has agreed to them! And the user was not mailshou wtith helpful emails to prevent lock out.

"Dear users!
Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay. Verification on our platform for blocked users will be available next week. We will inform you personally when this procedure starts.
We have launched the main service on time and this one will be launched on time too. We hope you will stay with us, despite the inconvenience.
Thank you for your patience.
Respectfully,
WEX Support"

Looks like they are trying to solve the created issue.
