Hey!
I've read the news that Eth is going to switch from PoW to PoS today and I would like to have your opinion.
From what I have understood, the fact that Eth is going to adopt the PoS by the end of 2017 is really bad for mining. And since I was planning to start to mine, I would love to have my ideas more clear.

What do you think about?
Thanks for your opinion!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Not only is it really bad, it'll probably be the end of mining Ethereum. That being said, there'll be other coins to mine instead.

NO need to worry. Pure PoS is many years away.

There are many results on google. My results are in my language, which would be not good for you. By the way, just for a reference, take this: https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/Proof-of-Stake-FAQ

just move to ETC or EXP

So you think that mining will be still profitable? If I understood right what the PoS will bring, it that lots of users will move to other coins, increasing the difficulty and so it would be hard to have a great income.
But maybe I'm wrong, in which case I hope you can help me trying to understand.

There are here some programs for mining ETC or EXP o UBQ?

Thanks

ETC or EXP mining is exactly the same like ETH mining (Algo: Dagger-Hashimoto).
Just switch to a pool which supports the currency you want to mine!

So I can use Claymore's for example?
