If anyone was looking at something that'd monitor outlet use, newegg has Kill a Watt meters on sale. I can vouch for these, as I used them in electrical engineering courses.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Just a word of warning (not warning really)... The LCD is not lit, and is really tough to read crouching down behind your computer desk with your neck turned to 1 side.

Simple solution?  Hook it in to a nice thick extension cord, then hook that in to the wall then you can at least move the damn thing around under your desk until you can read it.

Perhaps I should move my desk.

Perhaps they can screw this old model and push out a new one!  Grin
