It is possible that because of the sudden surge in price, there will be a correction happening in the future. But I do not think the price will fall back to below 1000$. Even before the rally, the support was already at above 1000, so if it falls, it will be on that level.

yes there is no doubt about this that are always possibility that the price can fell down. but i think the price of bitcoin has increased so much that now it look like difficult that the price of bitcoin will come down any more. the trend of bitcoin is toward increasing, the price of bitcoin is still trading above 2000$ and still people are expecting that the price of bitcoin can even cross 3000 USD very soon. i think 3000 USD is even possible in present month.

I didnt realized that bitcoin has becamed legalized already at some countries, and the next years i do expect more countries to legalize it, this only brings much more interest and fresh new money over the best investments opportunity, like what happened with gold, but bitcoin is magical, 2015 price were 400 dollars 2 years later price is 2000 dollars its 5x more, i might be wrong but crypto is changing lifes, and bitcoin is the first step to people follow the progress.

That is what i am thinking right now bitcoin value will not lower than $1000 because i know that continuous adoption will make value increasing due to high demand.
And those users waiting for that value they do not want to make any investment because the value they waiting is impossible to happen i think.

I think the down in the price only due to the news in the internet media about the Bitcoin .
No doubt that we can't forget the short time achievement of the Bitcoin but here reality is also that the demand is small going down in the current time .
The whole thing's happened due to the news only , here I am talking only for the country India , where I am living .
A news last day came in the media that the government will take action against the zebpay for the whole life transaction with the customer and if they found any doubtful things then surely they will take any hard action against them .
Due to this news the most of the newbies in the Bitcoin get shocked and sold Thier Bitcoin and that leads into down of the price .

There is a small chance that it can go below $1,000, if the problems with block size persists and the number of unconfirmed transactions rise above the previous records. The Japan effect has vanished now. Currently the exchange rates are mostly influenced by the SegWit vs Bitcoin Unlimited battle.

Agreed, I didn't find anything - regards bad news that affected bitcoin to fall and it seems like a correction after incredible increases in this month, people started to extract their money which has invested to get profits while others regret because too late cause panic sell. But, there will be always some people who don't want to sell bitcoin and prefer it as long term investment. So, I don't think bitcoin could drop back below $1000 at this point due to the price persist at $2000 right now.

Yes, theoretically it is possible because those who bought bitcoins at lower levers for the purpose of speculation would sell their holdings on higher levels. However, there are many traders and even the normal users who are waiting for a opportunity to enter in the bitcoin so even if there is large sell orders on higher levels, it will not impact the price that much because there will be almost same number of buy orders.

yes there is no doubt about this that are always possibalites that the price can fell down. but i think the price of bitcoin has increased so much that now it look like dfficult that the price of bitcoin will come down any more.

If bitcoin price had fall down from 3000$ two days ago but I am sure that it will be stable at 2000$ and it will not go down. Well at least the trend of the price going down since people had stopped panic selling their coins. And so the buyers are here again buying while the ones who have bought at a higher amount was just holding it waiting for another spike so they can sell their coins and get a profit.

Unless something really terrible is going to happen, that's unlikely

For example, Satoshi Nakamoto's body is found (just kidding). So unless a sort of Black Swan event should occur, the price is unlikely to fall below 1,000 dollars per coin. As to me, 1,200 dollars should be a pretty tough bottom to break through, this is where the current rally has started, and this is where it could hypothetically end. Right now we see the price rebounding strongly and unless big fish, sharks and whales alike decide to cash out the price may not even fall below 2,000 dollars (I use Bitfinex prices for reference)

Well, it's not until something drastic happens before the price of Bitcoin becomes worthless. I actually do think that in the near future the price of Bitcoin may even drop lower than what OP speculated. This is because at the beginning of this year, Bitcoin had market dominance of the cryptos around 93% or so on the coin listing. I think we will never be able to calm down about bitcoin's price. From yesterday it lost 400$ and today's price is 2200$. Everything changes so fast! So I will not be surprised to see 1000$ per 1BTC again.

It can't be helped, I think many people bought at the price of $2400, they though that it will be pumping more since it pump so high these month that it doubles its price last month. If these is the case, then I think bitcoin will be expecting to pump more again,I think what happened today why the price are dumping is because many users sold their bitcoins.
