Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$?

Probably never, only possible way that I could see for any decrease as low as $1000 or even lower than that is a chain split as others mentioned, and that will never happen, bitcoin is not like ETH to survive a chain split and even come from other side stronger, bitcoin needs to maintain it's integrity otherwise it will be a disaster with all the double spend attacks and all the other scenarios.

Why bitcoin is not capable of surviving any hard fork unlike ethereum ? You got any proper reasons for backing yoru statement ? Probably there will not be two group of people as more than 80% of miners are agreeing to 2MB hard fork.

Back to topic, when bitcoin slipped to $180 levels from $1200, it never got traded below $150. I mean to say similarly we are heading toward $3000 and also toward $5000 levels. Hence we will not get any chances to see again $1000 levels for ever  ever here after.

That is right, everything is possible and the market is still depending in the market so the price will not be stable forever and we can see lower than $1000 if the price correction and also panic selling will combined because a lot of people now are in panic because they bought to the top and for sure those weak hands will sell if they will see another type of dumping scenario for bitcoin.

Although it was fast I think we should forget about bitcoin with a value lower than 1000, I’m sure in this year we will have to forget to ever see bitcoin price to get as low as 2000 since I predict we are going to see another push at the end of the year and we may get close to 3500.

I don't think that it is possible for now, the price is rallying from $2k - $2.2k and it's possible to get up but it will not going to get down. That's what I'm believing for now. No, no, the price yes it went up to $2,700 but it didn't go back at $1,500 but instead it went back to $1,900 but that's for a while so I guess it will never go back at $1k.

You are right about this, nobody can predict future price of bitcoin. All this is new for people across the world and we can use some old tools to learn how new technology works. Without the biggest news such as bitfinex hack and it never goes below $1000 in the future, I think the early adopters have learned a lot about that. So they must try to control their emotion to avoid the huge crash for the market.

Exactly. It took Gox and a bubble bursting to ruin the price the first time. It was like every time the price surged, someone would get hacked majorly, or some really shit news would come down the pipe. I see some of the signs now for a serious decline; same bubble, little bit worse this time, but little chance of a major hack. The fork, if it happens, could seriously complicate things, but to get back on point, I think the floor is well above 1000 by now

Just if there's some sort of major hack or bad news, it could happen. But, the chance of bitcoin to rise instead of falling is far above.
We're now currently on a stable level because of the recent correction that dumped bitcoin's price so hard. But now, we're heading for another level ($3000).

Yes that is also what i think the price now is currently pumping up because of the deactivation of freeze of withdrawal from the chinese exchanges and the $3,000 is just a minimum target for bitcoin because it can go up more than that and there is no possibility for bitcoin to reach lower than $1,000 because of halving because it is opposite and it will pump even more.

I think it would be highly impossible for bitcoin to fall to $1000 once again.Those guys who bought bitcoin at $1000 due to BU issues were lucky enough to buy bitcoin at such low price.Actually that price fall was artificially created by Roger ver and others to fill their pockets by selling altcoins pumped and rebuying bitcoins at a lower price.Most newbies became victims at that time by selling their bitcoins in panic.But now almost every one has realized the true potential of bitcoin and even the chinese could not make bitcoin price fall by dumping.More over japan has accepted bitcoin as payment legally and new companies are coming forward day by day to accept bitcoin payment.So its very hard to expect bitcoin price to reach $1000.

Let's just assume what he believes that $1,000 is possible but when and how if most of the countries now are starting to make it as the apple of their eyes? Bitcoin now is becoming popular and the price now is increasing once again so there's no chance for it to get back again at $1,000 and I will not wish it would happen.

i am also sure that it is not going to happen again in future , because the price of bitcoin is not going to fell down from 2000 USD level any more, bitcoin will always be trading above 2000 USD and there are more chances that in near future the price of bitcoin will be trading above 5000$, so it is the best option to invest money in bitcoin right now and do not wait for the time when bitcoin will come down to 1000 $ again.

Agree that bitcoin is rising up and not going to dump at the current status, do not wait for the big dump at the value of $1000 i think that could not happen in the future, adoption by many country make bitcoin much stronger and make the value increasing. And now they will put additional fee to every transaction because they want to have earnings to make them alive and be stronger in the future.
