Currently looking for a motherboard to support our 6x rdx 470 gpu mining rig and alot of the popular motherboards are currently sold out.  Does anyone know of any good motherboards to use that are available.  Thanks friends

I have seem some TB85's and TB250's on ebay for a bit of a premium. They are usually in the 130-150 price range. It is more expensive than it should be but with the ROI right now it doesn't really matter.

Yeah I have been looking at those.  Obviously alot of the mainstream ones are sold out. But those look good. Are they the best for 6x gpu rdx rig?

Ya they can easily support 6x gpu's as that is their intended purpose.

We decided to get this motherboard for a rig.  Does anyone know how well this will work with our 6x rdx 480 rig?  - MSI Performance Gaming Intel Z170A LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (Pro Carbon)

Ya I am no expert with that mobo but I think I have read that you cannot or it is difficult to get 6 GPU's working with it. I think the Z270 Prime is the one that you want to get if you want to do 6 gpus. I would still wait for another person with experience with that mobo to also comment though.

Ya it seems its maybe possible but I also see many issues that people have had on these forums. Go search them but the TB250 is literally good out of the box without bios edits.

I've gotten 7 cards working on this card. Just need to update to the most recent bios. If you're running 480s, then you shouldn't have driver issues as long as your using 16.x.x.

It should work fine with RX 470's as well.

I just bought TB85 from a local store.
Still didn't startup everything since I'm waiting for the cards to arrive (which is gonna take a while -- a month ! )

I heard that this specific board has some issues in running more than 4 gpus at the same time but people fixed it by updating the bios  as iamnoobplzhelp said.

Look at this link and bookmark it. You might need it later.

either one of these, asrock h1 pro btc, biostar tb 250 or asus prime z270, all these are good, for mining, but i prefer the first two because they come with double molex, and you don't need powered riser or usb riser with those

How is that you don't need powered usb risers?
To what are you going to attach the cards ? lol

Which cards have "driver issues" in this mobo?
Does 6x RX 580 works good in this mobo?

The Z170A Pro Carbon has been having issues with handling more then 4 gpu's.  There are guides which help troubleshoot though from what I have seen.
