I am a strong believer that this is not the big bubble that everyone is predicting. If you want to make some profits, then sell a small percentage

of your coins, but DO NOT sell every coin you have. We have not even sorted out the scaling issues and we have not even had 1 killer/viral Bitcoin

Application and look at where the price is now. Only 1 country has signalled that they will fully embrace Bitcoin {Japan} ... What will happen once

this goes global?

Take some profits now, {to protect yourself, if this goes bad} BUT do not sell everything. Leave some coins for the Big Score when this thing

really takes off to the Moon.  Wink

meh, the panic sellers never listen and the higher we go it seems like it becomes easier to shake them out and take a big profit.

and times like this is the perfect time for people with my strategy.
what i do is buying bitcoin each month or couple of weeks or so whenever i have money. and at times like this where there is a big rise i wait till the panic sellers panic and buy all their coins cheap Cheesy

There is a FOMO brewing...

The price of bitcoins is going higher and higher and there will be not be an epic dump as people have trust in bitcoins and they would not dump down all their bitcoins.

That's very good advice OP. I've kept 1/3 of my stash, while the rest... well, I believe Yanks have that saying about the "life changing money"... that's where the rest has just gone Smiley

Yeah...  Let's not pretend that this price growth is normal.

The lesson is:
Quote
WHY AM I HOLDING? I'LL TELL YOU WHY.  It's because I'm a bad trader and I KNOW I'M A BAD TRADER.

It's impossible to tell how long this is going to go on for, so it's impossible to tell when exactly to sell.

Just don't panic buy, take in loans or throw in more than you can afford to lose.  This is a dangerous game so I say just wait it out.  The bad news is that we're getting very close to the point of no return, after which we'll go very, very high and potentially have a serious crash  afterwards.  The good news is that that the crash might actually only end up going back to around where we are now.

As I know Japanese start accepting bitcoin on early April by their goverment so that cause bitcoin demand getting higher recently.
Bitcoin value is adjusting their demand. But in other side, I'm fear what if another whale trader/investor are behind the scene of this bitcoin enhancement which will cause dump at the end ...

I don't mind the market to take a few steps back as that will allow me to buy back the coins I sold at lower levels, and thus increase the number of coins that I have. My highest cash out price at this point is $2700 a few hours back -- let's see how the market will move in my desired direction. I however don't think it will go much lower than 20% under my selling price

that would have to be one monster of a whale. i think bitcoin is moving out of the phase where one group or entity can play with it that much, especially when there's genuine demand from all over the world. their stash would get eaten up.

Not as per current situation, always not selling everything at one single prices/ in single day must be a good practices of investments. I too believe it is more sensible to hold bitcoins instead of finding any short term profit booking. This is because bitcoin is predicted to get $10,000 levels before end of this year. If prices are holding above $2000 levels for next few days then we can be sure bitcoin will reach 5 digit marks by end of this year.

most people will hold if the price still increasing but they will starting to sell their bitcoin if the price suddenly dropped even some people says hold it and do not be the part of panic selling but they usually would ignore our suggestion because they thought if they didn't sell their bitcoin then they will losing their money or will suffered huge loss

sarcasm
the use of irony to mock or convey contempt

(quote from Google)

Edit
LittleBitFunny beat me to it.

Back ontopic: let me put it this way: every (fraction of a) Bitcoin I ever sold in my life, is worth more now. After every price dip Bitcoin has ever had (up to 3 hours ago), it reached a higher value eventually.
I have no doubt it will reach a higher value again. It could be tomorrow, it could be next year.

Every time when bitcoin price is pumped, some people bound to sell their bitcoin for various reason
People got on the bitcoin boat for various reasons and majority use bitcoin to get some profits from it..
I guess we just have to accept not everyone has the iron hand to hold for the big party that awaits us

and it happens the moment i make this post.

lol hope we have a different turn of events after your special post Smiley

But, i think one massive dump will happen and that's last chance for bitcoiner to invest their money before scaling solution drama is over then bitcoin is ready for more transaction per second and a killer application/service about bitcoin.

Bitcoin price is going bananas at the moment am guessing some whales dropped there sack loads for bitcoin affecting our bubble but this is definitely temporary as demand will always out weigh supply forcing prices to raise.

Yes, but people should not panic and sell everything they own. This scenario has been repeated over and over again and the old-timers are used

to this. We have been around "Bitcoin volatility" for years and massive price spikes are nothing new. The newbies will panic and sell coins like

crazy when the price take a dip, they do not look at the price history over longer periods. Stay calm, and keep some coins for the next spike.  Wink

I think many are doing just like what you have suggested above. This correction is only because of some traders selling few of their bitcoins to take profit and I think we will have another stronger bull run that will increase price to over $3000.

I sold a good portion of my bitcoins a year ago because I needed to spend them. I spent some of them a few months ago because I needed the money. Every time I need money I have to sell less and less bitcoins so this absolutely makes sense. Sell maybe 5 or 10% but don't ever get rid of everything. You'll just hate yourself when you're hanging onto a small percentage of what you could have had.

It's correct . Bitcoin is quite rare because of big market demand so They must creat some bad rumors to cause big panic it's leading to the sell-off of investors. We need to avoid these rumors or you must cry for the lack of understanding.
