It is a good to hold and to save bitcoin now, selling everything will makes you regret, even selling small portion can make you regret, the price will surely up, the one that you need to sell all is the alt coin that got a fake pump

If you are having a huge amount of coins then it is really good to hold the coins for the long term,with the correction i did sell off most of my alts so that i could enter at a later time and had to suffer some loss doing so because i am not good at predicting what all coins had a good pump and what coins had a genuine rally because i only trust bitcoin for the long run.

Expect FUDS brought by the trolls when there is an ongoing price decrease. As if that a major price crash will be the turning point of a bitcoin crash not knowing that many people are waiting for that dipping point.

If people don't have something to do with their bitcoins for any purposes then the best thing to do is to hold. It's not wise to sell during price crash while at the same time chances of price increase to happened again is possible at high rates.

It would be best to hold if the price go down.  Unless you badly needed some cash then it is ok to sell some of your Bitcoin.  But if you are all good and do not need an extra cash, it would be best to hold your bitcoin to get more profit from it.  We all know that price of bitcoin is incline to price increase due to the market saturation and adoption. So you are losing some profit if you sell your bitcoins today.

So you are saying that those who haven't sold at $2,500 lose today? What if I told you that those people who bought at $2,500 are not primarily on the lose? They will earned more. Why? Let those funds that buys at $2,500 just hold while at the same time buying again the price dip.

That belief is yours is really categorized as weak hands. Ok after you sold now what? You wanna force yourself to deal with the current buying rates of most the exchanges? Remember that buying rates today are high in most of the exchanges because of the demand while at the same time, it's business. Well that is your choice and your own strategy so all I can say is goodluck and hope you earned more with that.

Well, I was very happy when I saw that the price of bitcoin had raised $2600, I was already seeing the doors of  $3000 very close, until I wake up this morning I see the price at $2200 I was scared

I think more lower that what you mention i think the price today is $1,900+ level hoping that the price can be increase back. but for now its impossible to hold bitcoins and i think many people are panic to sell.. so this is a time to buy bitcoins for lower price. ,

I am a strong believer that this is not the big bubble that everyone is predicting. If you want to make some profits, then sell a small percentage

of your coins, but DO NOT sell every coin you have. We have not even sorted out the scaling issues and we have not even had 1 killer/viral Bitcoin

Agreed. I think that you should sell at least some of your coins but hold the rest. That way you are basically lowering your risks of losing money either because the bitcoin market crashes or ecause the bitcoin market goes bullish again after this correction and you miss out on profits.

However i do think that this is a big bubble. If you think that -700(which is like 20-30% of bitcoin's value) in a few days isn't a bubble bursting then i don't know what your definition of a bubble really is. Honestly.

Long term though i'm very bullish with btc. Juts sayin this one is a bubble and has burst, might go down more before the bounce back.

Well, I agree that the price of bitcoin is going higher in the near future so I will hold it for a longer time. Holding is one things that you will consider if you to gain more income. It is good to hold your bitcoin and sell it when the price is high. I hope in the near future the price of bitcoin will increase so that I can earn more income.

There is a big opportunity ahead of us so there is really no need to sell...I had done that before and I will not do it again as I missed great growth since then.

As July would be approaching, I guess there would be many who can be spreading FUD to scare us to convert our Bitcoin to cash. There can be some form of panic but we should not listen to them because people who are members of the panic  club will usually not make great money but will lose them big.

Here are people who regret of not knowing bitcoin in 2010-2011. But most of them will not wait for few more years to get an excellent profit through bitcoin. Bitcoin has proven to be profitable in long terms. These short term pumps and dumps doesn't mean anything. For short term pump and pump, people should prefer altcoin trading instead bitcoin. I totally agree to OP, people should not just sell all their bitcoin if not absolutely required. They might become rich through the amount of bitcoin they are holding today in some 5 years.

If that's the case, I don't think that it will be making any such differences to anybody's decisions over selling or holding Bitcoins because according to me, even buying at current rates will one day give the investors bigger profits as it is not going to stop ANYWHERE.

If that's the case, I don't think that it will be making any such differences to anybody's decisions over selling or holding Bitcoins because according to me, even buying at current rates will one day give the investors bigger profits as it is not going to stop ANYWHERE.

I think there was a recent dip when we reached $2900 and then it dropped back to $2300. If you sold at $2900 and bought back at $2300 then that means profits for you if you were able to follow those dips. I think it's a usual occurrence in bitcoins that we see this price dips and just see it slowly rise back up again.

Exactly with most of the digital currencies patience is a must to taste the profit. In reality none can predict the exact pump and dump of the coins as well issues with digital assets were common and in time this will be overcome easily. Only the teams that lack developers fail at this point. So patience is much important and even if selling, sell based on necessity and not everything.

If it was that easy, people wouldn't be losing out. Problems here are that people simply have no clue what they are doing, plus their emotions always get the better of them. Add that most of them also happen to invest with money that isn't meant for that, and the panic gets complete. It is true In reality no one can predict the exact pump and dump coins.
But if we can keep some of our digital coins in large quantities and assume it's just a buried treasure, though bitcoin prices will drop dramatically but one day it will definitely return to the top of the high price, and when our coin is still buried.
It will be a tremendous victory

Hodling is easy when the price is more or less stable with few dips here and there. Real test comes when a big crash occurs & price does not seem to be recovering. Then doubts start to creep in whether you made the biggest mistake of your life or not.
