Hi all,
I have the bitcoin wallet loaded on my android smart phone and had .02 BTC in it. I tried to send this .02 BTC to an online wallet on Poloniex exchange website 20/5/17 but it was still unconfirmed on Wednesday 24/5/17. According to Block explorer today 26/5/17 it says " There are no transactions involving this address."

Please can I ask if anyone knows :-

   1.Why hasn't the deposit gone ahead ?
and
    2. Will I receive the .02 BTC back in my android bitcoin wallet?

PS I did make sure both Bitcoin addresses where correct.

Many thanks in advance for your time.

Steve

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It's probably already back to the original wallet if no blockchain explorers recorded the transaction.
And yes, rejected transactions implies that coin ownership hasn't changed, coins cannot be lost.
