Well I might not buying now because I'm waiting for salary by next week and then I'll try to get a piece more of Bitcoin. I'm buying and mining Alts coins which I sell for bitcoins so hopefully I could gather substantial enough by the end of the year. I don't buy because the price is low but I buy because I can profit and so if the price is low at the time I buy then all good else I will buy anyway no matter how small.

If u think from a investment banker's point of view many have released articles that bitcoin is an extremely 'RISKY' investment considering its charts crash after ATH crash after ATH it is really very hard to determine even if it will reach $5000/BTC as people expect to considering its not doing so well now if u look at blockchain.info anyway this is just a speculation   Grin Cheesy

I am not buying, however I am waiting for bitcoin to be close to be listed on the trade exchange/shares to have investors invest. Then the sky is the limit, and it will probably go up to $50K.

Australia is about to treat Bitcoin just like money, more or less like Japan did when January started.

Here is one source: http://www.valuewalk.com/2017/05/australia-bitcoin-tax/

Since Japan legalized Bitcoin the price went from around $1100 to $2300+ in less than 2 months.

Also ends of months are dump time, because people need to pay taxes and other things, so if your main income is Bitcoin, then you'll have to sell Bitcoins.

I wouldn't sell now, and would buy before the month ends, because of Australia

@Karpeles, i think this is an old thread but, i like to reply to the comment posted by Karpeles.

Well, it goodnews if, any country (japan, australia) decide to adopt or legalize the use of btc but, they should keep in mind the uncontrollable volatile (fluctuation) nature of the virtual currency.

For instance, what will happen when you as a boss decide to pay worker's salary in bitcoin, and a few day after this payment has been made, you notice a rapid drop price? What will you do in such a situation? Shocked

something like this has been happening ever since 2013. there is a service called bitwage where employees can ask their employer to pay them their wages or a percentage of it to their account there.

and it is mostly that: "a percentage of their wage" not all of it.
and to be fair we are aiming for a less volatile bitcoin price. if that happens, there would be no problem and that takes time.

Many people like to buy it, so they pushed up very high, but myself, the altcoin is also very strong, I would buy altcoin instead of bitcoin.

Wish you luck, buy bitcoin is now a smart choice, we can see that bitcoin has a lot of advantages to develop, it is fully capable to reach high prices in the coming time. Its value will not increase rapidly, but it will increase steadily and slowly, a stable development of the king of virtual money.

I have many friends who are asking me to whether it is right time to buy or not? I advice them to study the historic movement of bitcoin on the price chart and take decision. However, I personally think that one can go for investment if he is willing to hold his investment for the long term (at least 5 to 10 years). Yes, there is always risk associated with it but one can get the returns in the proportion of the risk he bear. High risk, high profit.. low risk, low profit.

@Dudeperfect, permit me to help you make the right suggestion to you & your colleague.

Beside, long term investment, those who are interested in short-term trade can also make decent profit.

A close watch at any exchange tool i.e preev.com will prove this to you. Ideally, you can buy by costantly monitoring the rate. When price drop from 2000 to $1,700/$1,800 you buy  and resell on LBC when price increase to $2000/$2005 usd.

Do this simple mathematic's : $2000 - $1,700 = $300 (net profit)
$2000 - $1800 =$200 (net profit)

If, you can watch & repeat same procedure for 7 dayz that will yield = net profit x 7 => $300 x 7  => $2,100 usd

Could tell me of any business where you can quicky get $2100 as profit within 7 days?

So, it's also rewarding for those who intend to focus on short-term (buying when price slightly drop & Resell when price increase on a daily basis)

Thanks

Waiting for huge, gigantic drops is a waste of time IMO, even with a price reduction a fall of $1500 isn't likely IMO,Regarding these posters of course some "it's going down" commercial from newbies will happen (fake newbies, trying to make people sell to buy cheaper themselves), That wouldn't work now though with a market cap of +60 billions.

If you have no bitcoins its time to buy now. There will only by a limited amount off bitcoins and with all the banks and big investors stepping it can hit 5k+ this year else it will happen later. But I feel the time to buy is now. A lot off new money is getting put in and now the big guys have cashed out look how much there is left. They will regret soon in stepping out.

Those days there is not only bitcoin we have ethereum tokens and the alliance and ripple getting investments. Many more new coins and tokens will launch so overall money coming in can only increase and not decrease.

Hoping for a 300-500 mil global market cap by ending this year.

If bitcoin gets sigwit activated then its gonna become even more trustable and more wanted watch my words.

well its experience already taught most of the investors and traders as we seen fluctuations and correction are possible but its not the drill
anymore, many traders are already aware of this scheme and already break their silence and believes that bitcoin investment will be more
profitable holding for long and not to be shaken of some certain moves.

Nice thread mate. I was also thinking the same. Community members this past weeks complaining that the price of bitcoin is too high for them. So now is the best time to buy back bitcoins and accumulate more before it is pump again and see the price goes to $3000. Buy now or regret(complain) later... again....
It is true that members of the public over the last week to complain that the price of the bitcoin is too high for them. So now is the best time to buy back and accumulate more bitcoins before the pump again and see the price go down to $2300. should the tone using the tennis analyst bitcoin movement

I would absolutely hold and purchase as of now as should be obvious what number of business organizations and nations managing business with bitcoin. Volitality in cryptographic money/advanced cash is typical since its market is stocks construct in this way its cost depends in light of the volume assuming suplly and request. I regard this plunge as a chance to purchase more bitcoins as I'm expecting that all the more great things/news will happen in bitcoin's market.

Believing in BTC but not buying now, the market is not stable and a crash can happen at anytime, not sure if the 2500 to 1900 will be repeated again at the current ~2000 limit but better to avoid it than buy and lose when the price drop. my main motivation is what happened before when BTC hit 1200 for the first time and a panic sell made it reach $600 in few days.

Thanks for the calculation. Yes, I agree that in short term we can really earn good profits because one or more reasons (such as price bitcoin on LBTC is mostly 10% to 15% above than that of the international markets in my country). If one can professionally enter and play in bitcoin trading then he can earn good profits.

For me it is still too high to buy eventhough now the price now is dropping a little, actually for a long term it is still a good investment however I don't have any extra money to invest anymore, and now the price is too unstable to be predicted so it is difficult for me to used it for trading
I think bitcoin price will never be fixed. It will always be unstable. Just like in the saying "change is the only permanent in this world"I believe that bitcoin price will always every day. every hour, every minute and in every seconds. But i agree that the price of it is too high to buy maybe we should wait for more days to drop it price where we can afford it.

Yes and i have bought ethereum for long time, it has chance to become more expensive than today, there are not many chance getting high profit in bitcoins because that is too expensive especially for me, but in altcoins there are chance getting high profit especially the altcoins that has nice fundamental like ethereum.
