i have around 3000$ to invest please suggest your best options !
I'd recommend just checking every reputable place you can find (ebay, amazon, your local computer shop, etc) and then buy from the place that has the best deal withing your budget.

You can try out Alibaba because they are Chinese company and most of the mining companies are from China as well, so it's possible that you could get your mining rig for lower costs as well if you try to place your orders there.

To my knowledge that miner tool can be purchased separately then newly assembled as desired, to get maximum miner results, than you buy already assembled

You do realize you would be better off just buying some bitcoin on an exchange, don't you?

Try bitmain products. I'm sure there are distributors that ship to your country.
Here's an EU site, and although they are shipping worldwide, you might find a cheaper local supplier, if you're located on a different continent.

The best mining stuff has been made by the biggest mining company, Bitmain. And if you feel like to buy some stuff, better go to the real seller.

I don't know why you'd bother investing in a miner with just $3000 but I guess whatever floats your boat.

Bitmain is probably one of the best places to get mining asics from assuming that you know what you're doing and are willing to make the investment. Keep in mind you won't be earning hundreds of dollars and you'll be lucky to find amounts to get a decent ROI most of the time.

If i were you, i will not pursue bitcoin mining because it is not profitable anymore because there is a lot of factor that can lessen your profits like the bills of the internet and also bills of the electricity that is already expensive because of 24/7 operation. If you are looking for a good investment then invest it on bitcoin alone.

On what country are you from? I suggest you to buy personally rather than to buy or order online because at least you should know that it is working completely fine. Because if you are going to buy online and then found out that it has defects or not working after you've received it, it is too hassle if you are going to return it back, so, if you don't want to waste your time, then buy personally on the designated stores at your place.

Forget bitcoin miners. There is only one company which has public sales and its future is not clear.

If #UASF succeeds after August, your hardware will be useless.

You better buy bitcoins or build a nice GPU rig with that money. Bitcoin miners mine bitcoin only. If PoW algo changes, they'll become useless. GPU-rigs mine lots of alts which bring high profit. You can build a decent GPU rig with 4-5 high-end gpu's inside.

Also it'll be much more easier for you to build/access a GPU rig and you'll be fully backed by the real companies like Nvidia/AMD or Intel, unlike shitty Bitmain.

If you wonder how you can pull this, check this:

You can buy directly from Bitmain.com. However, if you are actually trying to experiment on bitcoin mining, you can buy a few old ASIC USB miners to try out and keep as souvenirs.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASIC-Bitcoin-Miner-Block-Erupter-USB-330MH-s-BTC-USB-/262995606377?hash=item3d3bc27b69:g:x8IAAOSw~FJZIKBy

and the remaining money can be used to purchase bitcoin directly from exchanges.

They are available almost on every reputable online shopping sites like Amazon and eBay. However do not hurry buying them before you read it carefully there. Many times they have shown the pics of miner but description days extension cords and fans so not be fooled by that. People are crazy and they put pics of miners as primary pic while the main product pic as secondary one. Anyway you can always but and try to buy new only. New used crap as those miners are outdated or slow and blown up.

If #UASF succeeds after August, your hardware will be useless.
What exactly does UASF do to a miners ability to mine??

Quote
Bitcoin miners mine bitcoin only.
Not true, they can mine any SHA256 algo coin.  Like a legacy/classic SHA256 BTC LOL

Quote
If PoW algo changes, they'll become useless.
1) It's not happening, it makes 0 sense to fuck with a ~ $30 billion golden goose...
2) Even if it did happen, you will have SHA256 BTC and a XXXXX algo BTC chains.  Miners have a lot invested already and there is a lot of juicy meat left on the table, they won't just roll over and die for you.

I suggest buying directly from a third party rather than the mining companies themselves, since they are known for awful delays that makes the devices nearly worthless by the time they are delivered.
Personally at the current time, I find scrypt and other types of mining more interesting, since it allows most altcoins, hence a wide ranger of items to pick from.

The Bitmain Antminers are the workhorses of mining, on every mining platform
Bitcoin mining today requires specialized hardware designed to solve the computational problems associated with mining a new block.  Even this specialized hardware struggles to be profitable at the current difficulty level. there are maintenance fees you have to pay , and this fees is taking from your daily earning. The maintenance fee covers all costs related to mining :

    electricity cost
    cooling
    maintenance work
    hosting.
bitmap is an excellent place to get miners, they are based in China so it takes a while to ship.
