Frankly, I'm surprised that they haven't changed anything yet!
There has already been a discussion on this topic, and the conclusion is more than clear. The point is that CM operates exclusively with BTC, and that it pays all participants in its signature campaign exclusively with BTC. Therefore, from their perspective, it is completely irrelevant what the price of BTC is compared to fiat - because 2 BTC per week today or 2 years ago makes no difference for them. I may be wrong, but given the reputation CM has and the “pay as much as you want for service” policy, I have no doubt they are doing very well.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You can look at it that way but if the consumers believe that 1 BTC in 2021 is worth more than 1 BTC in 2020, they're probably not as likely to pay the same amount. Just because your operating service doesn't discriminate between USD amounts, it doesn't mean that your consumers do the same.

Not only that, but we also need to take into consideration the important factor that as bitcoin grows in price, so does Bitcointalk's traffic, and most probably so does ChipMixer's traffic(hence also an increase in earnings). So I guess we can probably make the assumption that it sort of all balances out in the end?

I admire your optimism but I don't think $30 per post will last... doesn't make much business sense when everyone would happily participate even with a 90% reduction.

Oh sure, of course. My point was just that bitcoin rising in price(hence a more expensive payment for campaign participants) isn’t 100% a bad thing on ChipMixer’s side, because of said reasons. But of course, it’s all speculation because only ChipMixer has the data.

Thank you for clarification, now i totally understand. I really haven't visited this forum for many months, but only because I wrote under the same nickname on another investment forum and didn't have enough free time. Thanks again for the detailed explanations, I shouldn't have tried to participate in this signature campaign without making sure that I was fully eligible. I don't know what I was counting on. Maybe you know, how i can return my trust and grab some green points?
Speak to the person who left you it an try work it out with them. As for gaining trust just be an active member and you should build it up naturally over time, especially if you're active in trades/deals etc. You can look at it that way but if the consumers believe that 1 BTC in 2021 is worth more than 1 BTC in 2020, they're probably not as likely to pay the same amount.

So I guess we can probably make the assumption that it sort of all balances out in the end? Just because companies get paid or pay in bitcoin it doesn't mean it always has to stay at a fixed amount in bitcoin. I doubt Chipmxer is charging the same for their service as they did when bitcoin was worth a few k and adjust it accordingly with the market. I admire your optimism but I don't think $30 per post will last... doesn't make much business sense when everyone would happily participate even with a 90% reduction. To be honest, I think they should lower it or cap it at something or peg the per post to fiat. As much as I appreciate the payments it's a ridiculous amount currently. Maybe they should restructure how much they pay or cap the amount you can get per week to a certain amount as it could get silly. Pegging to fiat isn't a bad thing in times like these. They could lower the amount to x in bitcoin then the bubble bursts and everyone ends up getting underpaid.

Today I noticed that one of the Indonesian Local users was removed from the Signature Chipmixer @joniboini. I am wondering if this is an option to reduce the campaign costs paid weekly for all participant during the bitcoin price increase ? If this is the option taken, there will be many more participant to be expelled in the future. Hope my guess is wrong.

Since everyone is suggesting about chipmixer payment reduction, it would have been better if CM reduce the payment rate while taking in new good and quality posters that deserves/ fits in the category of receiving such significant amount. Trust me, that will bring more promotion, I know chip is everywhere, but more.... What's you take on this?

I don’t think they are borrowing to cover campaign costs, it is certain that everything comes from his own profit. So if Chipmixer can pay that much for one campaign, it is clear that they have a satisfactory profit. why do you think they need advice here when everything is already working well for them?

Re-structure is on-going, maybe (changes to make exposure to other boards or find other participants in the same board). One or two participants were removed does not mean the company is trying to reduce weekly payment budget for the campaign. I think the company know what they are doing (total budget, payment rate, total participant, etc.)

that's exactly what I think too. I even find it surprising, even annoying, that people not participating in this campaign are asking for reduced payments. If it has to happen, it will happen, no need to force it. Could it be that some are envious ?

I doubt Chipmxer is charging the same for their service as they did when bitcoin was worth a few k and adjust it accordingly with the market. Their fees have always been voluntary/donation-based. With more economic activity as price rises (as evidenced by higher BTC transaction fees) it stands to reason there'd also be more users using ChipMixer. But it might not all be 1:1, and seeing that DarkStar_ has merited suchmoon, the participants of this campaign should be prepared for reductions in rates paid. The 2nd highest paying campaign pays barely more than half what ChipMixer pays per post but with a smaller weekly post limit, and the 3rd highest is some shitcoin campaign with $6/post but with an even lower weekly post limit, and none of them are accepting new members.

Just to weigh in; a merit does not signify endorsement, or agreement. It's possible an adjustment is in the works or DarkStar_ liked the idea behind the reply and chose to merit it.

I don't know if anything will happen (yet). I would not be surprised (and neither should anyone else be) if payment rates were reduced.

I fully agree on this Just to have an idea about the rates right now. The President of Brazil salary (and also the supreme court) is R$ 39.000 This is now 0.185 BTC per month Cm pays 0.15, or R$32000 per month (A few more because a month has more than 4 weeks) So a few less than the supreme court judges and the president. Maybe the same as a senator or something like But at the same time this forum is the best place to advertise a mixer service. Where else could it be advertised? Google and Facebook certainly not. And CM signature is everywhere here.

I thought like the others did, as the currency increases in price then more people are using their services so they'll generate more profit from that (even in btc value as btc gets more distributed).
I think a strong majority of members in this campaign are active users or have used chipmixer too so we're probably refunding it by donating in that sense too and adding more liquidity to the mixer in chips (supplementing and adding to. The randomness chipmixer er itself also ensures).
There's also the thing that a lot of these signature campaigns have been sold to the admin on the idea they're putting btc into people that wouldn't have btc already. Much like mining did in 2009-2013 where it could be mined using a gpu or cpu...

or peg the per post to fiat.
And what happens next when (if) BTC tanks? they will be paying more BTC, or they will have to re-evaluate the situation every time a major change in price happens which isn't very practical. There is really no easy "fix", you pay in fiat - you are subject to pay more BTC, you pay in BTC - you become subject to pay more fiat, which why I think most businesses will pay in the "currency" they earn in order to keep their budget in place since Chipmixer is one of the few companies on planet earth that earn and spend only in BTC it will be hard to peg the payment to fiat, on the other hand, fiat wise while BTC price is at levels is a lot, and Chipmixer can really save a lot by reducing the payments at least temporary, and as Suchmoon said, most likely nobody will complain. With that being said, and given how successful Chipmixer is and also how long they have been in the business, I bet they are more capable than most of us in making decisions related to advertising campaign budget.
