it always is like an end of era, the ending to an otherwise great season of pumping for all the altcoins. we have had an excellent run this year. all the rises were ridiculously big this year, we have had percentages of rise in altcoins that nobody even could think of possible because they were big.
we have always been used to 50% to 100% rise in these coins but to see 5600% rise in one month, it was indeed a great page in the history of altcoin pumping seasons.

now we are at the end of this season and once again we will see another long period of pathetic small pumps in these coins and mostly dumps all around. there will be blood

i hope everyone increased their net worth during this glorious pump run.

I think we will see another big pump before a real bear trend. Its way too early to call it the end of pumping season.

Perfectly said. Today is an awesome day! I woke up and checked whether the money from month of work in signature campaign was sent. On blockchain I saw that the money is sent but the sum in dollars was suspiciously small. I looked at btc price and saw a bit more than 1900. At fisrt I was really upset. Then I went on coinmarketcap and so this fully red list of coins. My eth was $128 instead of $200+. But then I recalled that I was waiting for a long time till litecoin drops to $20 to finally buy some!
As the situation with cryptos was suspicious, I read what's the reason of such drops to find out whether it is related to technical problems of currencies revealed or something. When I found out that it is just about coinbase, I finally got some litecoins.

I do agree on what you have said this year was really good when it comes on pumps on alts or even on Bitcoin. They do really have huge percentage pumps which doesnt happen mostly on previous years. This is only good for those who hold those alts but for people who dont hold nothing i think its still fine and would really be a lesson learned that we should also put attention on buying potential alts to maximize our possible incomes. I think this would be the era of waiting game as always.

Bitcoins increase in value = less satoshi's being offered for coins but still equals the same value.

BTW when there is a pump there is usually an accumulation period beforehand

This is just part of the business to give thrill to the investors and members. At least everyone profited during the pumping. And also birth of other ICO's. There have been a lot projects lately and i can say that most of them are on a good track. Btc now is famous for its increase it just a month. Surely many people will be interested in investing to btc once again after that price increase.

Not sure the pumping season is over yet.  It will end when Bitcoin tops and then goes down for a year or so.  I'd say there's about a 50/50 chance that 2700 was that top.  STRAT and OMNI have been very good performers today, but there are less performers everyday than there were the day before.  I only buy on breakouts to new highs and then cover, usually within the same hour.  I've made about 200k the last 2 months which is now held in about a 50/50 split between BTC and USDT, the latter which I'm somewhat concerned about as I slowly convert it to real USD.  I have a few shitcoins I keep in wallets where I like to buy up a decent percent of the market cap and then store them in a wallet just in case they run it up.  One of those they ran up 2000 percent last month.  If Bitcoin makes new highs, the ALT pump will resume and it will be time to ride the pump again.  It's all good.

Yup, that is the best part of it. Hope for all who missed it or were at the wrong end of things.
It was a great run and I'm sure many lucky ones made huge money from it, but now as many(like myself) are stuck with in the current phase (bought at high and will now wait), a green run is what we all are waiting for.

Yeah I do think that right now the pumping activities in generall in the cryptocurrency world has sort of come to a hiatus. If you are monitoring the coinmarketcap's top 100 cryptocoins then you would see a sea of reds compared to all greens a few days before.

Reason for this i think is partly because bitcoin has been stagnant over the past few days and also because the pump itself has to stop someday. No way ethereum was going to go to $1000 and quadruple its current market cap.

Year 2017 is the year of altcoins. Countless of altcoins have increased by more than 10x since the start of this year.
In this market, the best opportunity is to buy alts on dip. They will increase a week or two later.
