Hi guys,
I see here planty of topics about sports betting but none of them really helps us in making conclusions about picking the right winning picks.
I would like to try something in this topic:
I want you guys to write here your decision making while you choose a pick.

I will constanly update this post with the best ideas and tips of yours so all of us can see and maybe use it to choose their picks.

Lets start:

1.  Before I choose my final pick, im trying to get into the bookies head and think like them. Eventually, they try to confuse us with the odds they put. If the odds looks suspicious to me for example -if the odds are too good to be true in specific pick, I believe that most probably its a trap from the odd makers and im getting away from this pick.  (CarlesPuyol)

Before I would pick my bet I am looking at the most bets for the day and base on that I would just think of the possible outcome because anything can really happen in any game, that is why I am seeing others analysis if I don't have any knowledge on the opposing side to simply come up with concluding things that might happen with the game, by that I would take my final pick.

I don't have much idea how to do analyze in sports betting when picking the best team but i am always checking their previous games if what are the best to pick.. since we can see them live we can choose what is the best to pick in sports betting.. and also checking if more people are betting..
This is just my own opinion..

If we really follow the journey of the tournament, we will be easier to analyze. We can also know which one wins the game. Setting a bet for a team that wins often can be an option for us. The more we know the conditions of the teams that will compete, the easier for us to choose.

I've a different way of looking at Soccer Bets.I have different strategies of betting on different sports too.Anyway below are my 2 cents.
 -1-Never fall for the high odds.Don't ignore them either.From the knowledge I've,I try to learn more about that particular match through various blogs on google or just watch the live discussions from experts on the sports channel.
 -2-After choosing to bet on a particular match,I ask opinions from couple of friends who watch football and have strong opinions on the team.I do get different replies from lot of people.Depending on the most logical replies I get,I go with it.Don't are about the odds then,if my prediction matches with my sources,I play it blind.

Before making my picks I always try to find out if betting on the underdogs is viable or not on a match-to-match basis. If I think the underdog has a 50% chance of winning the game I will bet on them. I like to bet on hockey and I usually watch the games I have bets on and if the favorite happens to be winning I will make a quick live bet to hedge my position and secure a profit against my earlier underdog bet. So in a nutshell I try to catch a big change in the odds pre-match and when it's live.

these are my 10 rules  

1° You Can't become rich with betting! You can make a big win, but in a long period (what we are talking here) you CAN'T become rich! A good percentage of winning is only the "sure win" and no it can help to become rich Smiley .

2° Play only an amount of money that you are ready to trash in the rubbish (litterally), because, if you play to win (like an all in) it's really hard to win in a long period of betting, also the skills of a better are every time stressed due the high risk.
 (The money management it's the best approach to a long period winning streak).

3° Bet only in a site/bookmaker that you know! Don't trust in a site with HIGH quotes and strange way to withdraw money. Don't trust in a competition made by unknown sites, If you are betting with crypto I can suggest DirectBet.eu .
Try to follow forum / user / group, where you can read analysis of a bet, impression about a match , so on....

4° Take a pause between the bet session. Depends in your quality, but every 1-2 hours make a pause where you "breath again", take a look of the previously betting session, drink water Smiley etc....

5° Never (so far) trust "tipster" that claim high winnings, because, it's not a statistic success, but only fortune Smiley (I have a good basic of statistics and only a tipster for a specific league/sport is plausible, other try to create a good crew, to spam sites, clickbaiting, sell "bet" etc etc....

6° NEVER play (to win) if you are: Tired, stressed, bored, angry etc etc..... There is a strong effect come from the morale of better....

7° Even if you can, try to bet LIVE (and see a streaming of the match): for at least the 70 - 75 % of betting.
You have to place At least 90 % of betting in a competition/team that you KNOW WELL!
Never play "easy" results with big amounts, like "A vs B 3:0" because if you don't know the team names, other info at so on....

8° Try to apply a rule in a betting (an elastic rule sound better Cheesy ) ....
Like... in the horse racing with more of 3 miles with hurdles some one as correlated (with a good R and good causation), when there is no an horse "strong favourite @ < 2" .... the horse quoted from 7 to 10 are really favourite, also when a 3 -6.99 horse run. Yes I know it's sound strange, but It can really work in a long period....
Another 2 easy example, in a dog greyhound, very often the position 3-6 are (no handicap) are unlike by the runners, due the high number of collisions during the run...
In wta tennis, the top ten after winning a set are really favored to take a final win....

9° Play ONLY when you are sure to win! But REMEMBER: there is not an easy betting [RULE 7] (at least for the 99.99% of the case), because, everything it's possible Cheesy , and when a bet it's really to simple to win... is not quoted!!!!
Don't trust (again) tipster, likewise some one on facebook that sell H/F time bet of rigged match... ( I don't believe in this user, because if you play by yourself you can become rich with only one bet!)

10° Last but don't least.... Don't play too much events in one toto bet!
Yes! don't make "a long long list" in only one bet to pump up the prize.
@100 x 2 btc = 200 btc... with 1000 bet 0f 1.10......
The @100 is not only a Cheesy happy number, "i can become rich" but it's a probability number, that your events will be set winning!

Trust me Cheesy bookmaker want that you try to catch this high prize, because more match together implies more difficult (and I think with some numbers it's really impossible win).
A good friend (in the real life) use to bet from 6-10 bet every time like handicap, over 2,5 etc etc....

Him can get really the 90% of single match, but for only 1 every time him loose!
Why?!? Because if you play 6-10 single with strong quotes more @1.70 so far, you can protect your self for the "lucky bad of the last bet". There is also a psychological correlation, to see the prize get up, the vast majority of better, try to place the "surprise" or decide deliberately to point to more bet.

When I place my pick I always bet a percentage of my bankroll ranging from 1% -5% max depending on how confident I am with my pick because I believe betting this way will help you gain profit than betting at a constant amount.  I always check these subreddits to see what picks do people like because most sportsbettor are mostly active there in replying compared to here.

Yes, it counts. I am capable of predicting few sports accurately and honestly I am following any step by step procedures but I am loving few sports and I am accurate with them all the times. When I am emotionally bonding to my home team, I faced losses (given that my home team faced defeat on that day).

I mean to say there may be some secrets for sports betting, but I believe I am already performing well without them or without conscious I have cracked those secrets already.

That really could work if to make a bet on the most popular subject. But it also can turn to you as not so big prize, because of if this popular subject wins the prize is going to be shared between all people who made a bet. So, in the end it's going to be almost the same money you beted with.

Yup because the popular team or the team that has an advantage of winning will surely have so many bets or supports from the bettors that is why you will need to share the prize money that have been won, but if you have been with the team that are at a disadvantage and that team would won you can accumulate high prize because there isn't much people would gonna bet on the unpopular one that is how sports betting work but you can surely can take home something if you could bet on the right one.

I would also always check different bookies to see if the odds are deviating a lot. This can result in some additional information that one of them may have missed.

I always check the team's playing and their history playing each other, I then check the players available to play and see if a keep player is absent from the squad then I make my decision.

There are no "secrets" regarding sports betting.  Find a way to make better predictions that most other people and you can end up with a +ev long term.  Make bets with very small percentages of your bankroll (2% max) and that's it.
 
The trick is making good picks. 

Here are a few tips:

1) With standard odds of -110, you need to be right 52.4% to break even.  The absolute very best elite cappers are 55%, and 53.5% is impressive.  This is over the long run.  Anyone that claims to consistently beat this with standard odds is absolutely full of it.
 
2) DEFINTELY line shop.  Different books have slightly different lines throughout the day.  Have multiple accounts and find the best odds.  This will make a huge difference.
 
3) Winning long term means squeaking out very small margins over many plays.  Never forget this. 
 
4) Never, ever, ever play parlays, teasers, or other exotic bets.  They are never in your favor odds-wise.
 
5) Search for arbitrage opportunities.  Seriously, always look for them.  They are free money.

this is very necessary and will change the situations for every matches because with more players to got injuries maybe the strength for the team also will decrease too and i saw this problem several times that the favourite teams cannot win against a weaker team than them because their main players was got injuries

I always do the same thing especially in soccer games. I always wait till the last minutes before the match to see the official lines-up of each team. When there are some missing important players then I can decide what to bet.
