Thats a big portion of your portfolio on LTC. You still plan on holding it all the way to 1M even when Bitcoin is already getting segwit (one of the primary reasons that boosted LTC price)?

No plans to hold anything ad infinitum at this point. Later on that might change though. If we get up above $200 on LTC I might start dumping.  Wink

I think the point was why are you bullish on LTC when Bitcoin is getting the same main feature of LTC currently (segwit). Personally I'm an LTC bear because I don't see what it offers that Bitcoin doesn't or can't other than a faster confirmation time and different proof of work system.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

To me it is very possible turn $10000 to one million through crytocurrency trading. I think you should update us frequently and also want to prepare your mind that crytocurrency trading also has it own level of risk too.

BTC also has some risks that are much higher than LTC, for example, imagine how a catastrophic failure for one of the major Chinese BTC miners could affect the BTC blockchain.

LTC is much more nimble, and just as safe.

It's also clearly undervalued if seen from its 4:1 ratio with BTC. Just from this point of view it's got much more upside potential. One of the best risk/reward opportunities in crypto IMO.

Going to rotate out of what's behaved like a dog into a high spec: XEM > more MCO.  Grin

I think MCO still in period stand still the price and around @25k sat - @30k sat is best price for buying before the price of it comeback to real value soon. The potential of MCO not bad, maybe better than XEM in current.

That’s your personal choice totally. But I don’t think so there is any comparison of bitcoins with altcoins. They are kids of the crypto world. Bitcoins are the rulers of the crypto market. You should accept that bitcoins are far better than altcoins. There security and other things are much better than that of altcoins.

There are altcoins, and then there are altcoins. What you say is true for the vast majority, but there are exceptions that are just as good as, if not better than, BTC. I suggest you take a closer look at LTC, for example, if only to protect yourself - it's never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, although right now you're doing pretty well! Shocked

Cheers

yes it was also quit possible for me to turn small amount of money into huge amount. And all this happen by bitcoin. Now a question comes in your mind how it is possible then let me tell you with an example suppose   have $10000 and you invest in bitcoins, at the time you buy bitcoin the price was %2800 per bitcoin and then 6 month later the price will reached at $4000 per bitcoin now imagine profit by yourself.

Earlier today I liquidated the last little bit of MYR, now XMY on Bittrex too, and bought some XMG to introduce it. Just looked at the XMG chart, and WOW! Was only ~.20000000 BTC worth, no big deal, and was just going to mention it on next Sunday's update (which will be the last for a couple of weeks - am on vacation and will be away), but with such a spike, thought I'd better mention it now.

Something about a "HODL Movement".  Huh Check it out for yourselves. Sorry I don't have time for that right now.   Grin   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg20693379#msg20693379

If you're looking to get in, anything between .00005200 and .00005750 would work. Remember, play safe and light, and never more than you can afford to lose.  Cool

Good little coin by the way. I've got much more in my personal portfolio.

Cheers.

EDIT: That was a couple of hours ago. Not even a bounce! Angry Oh well. Very good example of what a shitty trader I am and why I believe so much in diversification and taking a longer term view.  Wink

Still a good long term bet though, IMO. It's also a good sign from an intermediate term cyclical standpoint - it could be signaling that there's more to come.

I now see BTC in your portfolio. Now you can reach your goal. I am building a portfolio also. I plan BTC to hold the largest balance. Stay diversified

HR, amazing stuff, thank you very much for sharing.  Very useful info and a rather handsome return too so far!

I would highly recommend a book to improve trading overall https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Vic-Methods-Street-Master/dp/0471304972/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_img_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MTTG201MZ60YAY7N61GD

also notice that your list of investments has nearly doubled from your original post, and has grown to include several unknown/speculative names...

anyhow, may it grow many times over, all the best!! Smiley

Yes, he has efficiently managed his portfolio which is not an easy task for a trader.
I anticipate that things work out according to his plans, allowing him to make his dreams come true. I would love to see his results and would try to learn from them.

Although capital management very difficult when become to trader, but this is one of requirements important need have every trader.
For me, this is first thing need learning and improve before learning skill trading on market.

I hope that you would be lucky to get the milestone.
It is possible and you are doing it right with charting and selecting the coin.
The time limit may be a bit longer,
I dont know the exact time to get there,.... but it is possible

Fairly steady, diversified portfolio - if I’d only just given a little weighting to the BTC trade. Can’t backtrack, but sure can learn. I made a cycle related misjudgement, as can be clearly seen in the chart below (that’s a few days old, but still serves its purpose).

https://i.imgur.com/8h9qxcu.jpg

Nonetheless, “cycles” are far from written in stone, and the direct and inverse relationships with BTC also come and go.

In any event, with my main holdings looking like the charts below, showing intuitively understood bullish TA: price is obviously moving from lower left to upper right, I'm happy with where it is and current positioning. It’s just a matter of time for breakouts, and, well . . . for another doubling or tripling?

https://i.imgur.com/kjGnniF.jpg

What things are doing in USD terms is obviously what’s more important IMHO.

Will be OOTO for a couple of weeks. Will update again once I'm back. (Might pop in on Twitter though. Follow me if you haven't already. @HR_DGB) Cheers!

Oh, and thanks everyone for all your comments, recommendations and knowledge sharing!

Edit: Forgot to tell you that I sold roughly .2 BTC worth of MCO yesterday night (hence the increase in BTC). That's all folks!  Wink
