I sent 4 transactions in a row, since the first one won't confirm, the others won't either : transactions finally confirmed after 74 hours.
Before that I sent several transactions without trouble, even with a much lower fee.
I know that the fee I used is too low, I'm looking for solutions.
I hold to my coins, so I had not run my client for months. I have Bitcoin core but 3 years late in sync, and MultiBit Classic. I chose that one, I first upgraded it to the latest version, but clearly, the fee calculation is wrong. I put the max fee on that client, which was 0.0005 BTC.
I've been letting Core (latest version) synchronize for several days now, I'm 1 year and 12 weeks behind, still.
Once Core is synchronized, will I be able to cancel a transaction made with MBC ?
Can someone offer help to get these transactions confirmed ?
I must say I'm very disappointed in Bitcoin right now. My banks are much more efficient, and SEPA transfers are free.

If you want a faster confirmation then you need more than 0.0005 at the moment so I think it is a better idea for you to move your coins to another wallet.

The transactions have already confirmed. However, you are correct in that a higher fee would have helped. OP: Topic can be closed using "lock topic" on bottom left of page.

Correct add some big fees to make transaction faster and you do not wait for long time to confirmed your transaction. More free transaction now are traffic in the blockchain and if you choose to transact for free you need some patience to wait to be confirmed your transaction that is normal nowadays.

I guess it's fair, very many are doing transactions on the internet using bitcoin, and even, there is a wait for 5 days to confirm the transaction. Well, all you have to do is just be patient waiting for 1 confirmation to happen

Can't find it on other block explorers (blocktrail, blockr.io, blockcypher), I'm afraid it has been forgotten already . Just wait for your wallet to sync if your bitcoin is not back . i sent it 16 of may, at this point i think it will never be confirmed, yeah i know the fee was way below but still not so low to take all this time, weird
The recommended fee based on: https://bitcoinfees.21.co is 270/byte so it should be 100710 sats instead you paid 100.268/byte which is 37400, not even half of 100K sats . But I believe on may 16 the mempools are full of unconfirmed tranact. it should be 300+/byte

My transactions were 8BTC total so I couldn't abandon them.
I tried viabtc several times but couldn't participate. I even registered but they don't have anything to sell at the moment.
I'm thinking it might be worth it to cloud mine with them for a small amount of money if you can accelerate cheap transactions !
Anyway, I figured out to have a chance with viabtc you must submit at XX:00:00, but just when I did this my tx had been confirmed some minutes before.
