I dont think anyone has so much of patience to hold BTC for 30 years or so, every man has some needs or dreams and at a certain point, he/she will sell their BTC to fulfill them.

Well some people seem to think we are only a few years away from that, too much optimism in most bitcoiners and I wish people would be more realistic about the prospects and its utility.

i think the point he was making with that statement is that if everyone start to buy one bitcoin, we will eventually reach the point where the value will increase drastically

because not everyone can actually buy 1 bitcoin, but only a fraction of it, and the more the amount is spread among people in the world the more the value will be higher

still 30 years is too much of a prediction, i'm more in line with the satoshi prediction, by 2030 bitcoin will have proper adoption and the highest value already

Well if you can have patience for a long time you can do it exactly, because 30 years is not easy to do and it needs a lot of efforts to do in order to make you n holdings of 1 btc will not be stumbled.

I think that 30 years is so long, in bitcoin investment, the people who got their hands in the first year of bitcoin, put them on the top in merely almost 8 years, which is 3.5 times less than your 30 years, I think if you are a bitcoin investor, 5 years is suffice. And not only effort is needed, you need a lot and lot of patience.

years from the year is indeed very profitable for bitcoin holders bitcoin because by investing bitcoin, people who have their hands in the first year of the bitcoin, putting them well above. I think if you are an investor bitcoin certainly efforts necessary just a lot of patience in order to be lucky

I cannot wait for 30 years cause its very very long  time.  If  1 bitcoin can make me millionaire someday in a short period of time maybe 5 years will definitely  buy 10 to 15 btc and save it for 5 years.

Many failed to realize the actual point in it. Holding 1 btc in 2013 will give 1500$ profit today after just 4 years. Even that is huge, why you even want to think about 30 years. The value of bitcoin started from cents to two thousands of dollars and I am sure that it will still go up in value. Owning one bitcoin could really make us in the top 1% financially within the next 30 years since I do believe that during that span of time bitcoin could reach or could touch the million dollar value. If you hold now and sell after 30 years then you are already a millionaire.

For young people who can buy 1 BTC and wait 30 years this is nice investment,risky but may bring a nice profit as supplementary pension.On the other side to predict what will happen in next 30 years is impossible,it is hard to say what will happens in next few months.

Can someone enrich one day just by the fact that he is the owner of 1 BTC?Depends on how you look on things,for someone price of 10 000$ would be a fortune,for some others even 100 000$ per 1 BTC is not enough.

With the current level of growth, if you want a simple life and do not need to work, you can store bitcoin in large quantities, however, it's a waste if you just store it and wait for the slow favor.
