So I recently downloaded the Bitcoin client (yesterday). I've been downloading blocks with moderate speed, and got to 130549. I've restarted the Bitcoin client, and I have 8 connections, but the blocks aren't updating. What's the problem?  Huh

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Just wait longer, the blocks will come.  You can check the latest blockcount here

http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount

There is also website where you can download the blocks in a .tar.gz file... I'll try and find the link.
