Nothing special when buying bitcoin at 2500$ if you want to purchase something or send someone money in USD by using bitcoin. But for holders, to my mind buying at 2500$ is silly action at first because bitcoin isn't must to rise coin and when price rised so big, there are steps to stop and that step was becoming bitcoin 2500$. It will get a little down again and buying even on 2000$ sounds logical for me.

well iI know what you are thinking, should I sell it but what if you sell and it goes to 3000$, what I can suggest is you can do average and that's the best part of it. Say it goes down buy and average is, x +x/2 and that becomes your price so that means when you sell you get a higher price. That's the best part buy at every dip may be not full, but little and enjoy the benefits, I don't think you should be worried so much you shall get your capital and profits back. Just be calm and wait the bull run shall continue once again.

it's better to hold it and sell it when bitcoin prices are above $2500 or maybe you can sell and re buy when the price is low. that's the risk of bitcoin investments whose prices are unstable or fluctuations. don't panic your money will not go away all because bitcoin price is very difficult to go fall at this time.

don't just get played by the emotions buddy...have patience..these are cryptocurrency...ups and downs are very common..And if you really want to have more profit then keep hold on your coins...surely it will crosss $3000 this year or may be more...Just have patience

i am agree with you and it seem many of us is not selling and they save it in their wallet. we need more price to sell our bitcoin so we can make big profit but i think for me, i will sell only the small part of my bitcoin to buy something in my real life. but i am selling my bitcoin when the price is reach $23xx because i really need money to buy some food for me and my family so i only use 0.02 btc for make withdraw and i still have the most bitcoin in my wallet.

Yeah when you start buying bitcoin theres always risk, if you buy bitcoin be ready on everything that will happen.
But the best thing to do is to hold your bitcoin until you can make profit from it. Wait for a higher price.

To the OP please just hodl. BTC should be a long term investment. Also if you bought high and the price falls look into dollar cost averaging to bring down your investment costs. I.e.

Buy 1 BTC at 2500
Price falls
Buy another 1 BTC at 1500
=
2 BTC for total cost 4000
In other words 2000 each.

IMO that's a great strategy but it can be used only by people who strongly believes in Bitcoin. You should be absolutely positive on Bitcoin's bright future. For example if someone bought 10 BTC at $1,200 in December 2013 and after waiting more than one year for the price to rise and seeing that the price only dropped even more, if that person instead of selling 10 BTC at $230 would buy another 10 BTC being sure that Bitcoin can only rise from that point, imagine how happy that person would be now.

Well first of all, i guess it could happen to any one, so no things to worry about. Price of bitcoin is going up and down like crazy last days, and i guess that is kinda good, because it makes it easy to earn money on that kind of fluctuation. I suggest for you to hold to that one bitcoin you bought. Price will probably go above 2500 dollars.

Buying bitcoins at higher or lower rates don't matter much as you just have to hold on for a little long and wait for the price to go up soon.
