Buying bitcoins at higher or lower rates don't matter much as you just have to hold on for a little long and wait for the price to go up soon.

It is more like psychological. I have seen Bitcoin at $200 to $250 per coin, just two years back. After refusing to buy coins at those rates, do you really expect me to do that now, when the rates are like 10X?

Holding would be preferred right now, at least I think so. You will still feel bad if you sell today at $2400 and then just in few days someone sells at $2800. Well as we can see there was a steep rise then a steep fall and now we are recovering. There is no way to say exactly, but there is a good chance by end of this year we might see $4000 or even $5000.

It doesn't matter when you buy. You should make a profit given enough time. Those who bought at 2800 at the end of the bubble will make a profit at some point as well (if they long enough that is). The worth thing that you could do at that point is selling at 2200. Now we are at 2500 and we will reach 2800 at some point.
Past performance proves that entry point doesn't matter at bitcoin because it just keeps rising. A general rule is to buy the dips, however, if you always wait you will never buy any Bitcoin...

Actually what price you end up buying Bitcoin matters, because you never can tell how far it may reverse or for how long it may remain below before it retests or surpass your buying price. The rule of the thump is always to buy low and sell high and buying at just any price would never allow that to be accomplished.

Yes if i had a bitcoin i would prefer to hold it for awhile. I know that bitcoin will gonna be good at its price or its gonna be higher and higher this year and to the succeeding years. Those who had set a target of $2,500 might have offloaded their coins, when the target was achieved. They will be happy, as they got a good ROI. And there is absolutely no guarantee that the exchange rates will not dip in the near future.

If you are still holding it as of now then you will surely got $300 profit when the price hits up 2800 and if you sell on lower 2500 then its really a loss and you let your emotions win. bitcoin price do really normally decrease unexpectedly and feeling of getting paniced is really normal.

This is a question you should be asking before you make the decision to buy bitcoin. Have some kind of plan or resolve in what you plan to do (or not do) in regard to what happens with the price of bitcoin going up or down before you commit to buying. If you are just now realizing after having bought a bitcoin that there's risk involved in investing as you say, that's just being irresponsible with your money. To answer your question, don't be a pussy. Be strong and hodl. If you are going to be a worry wart and fret over every swing in the price of bitcoin, do yourself a favor and just sell out.
