Thats the main issue dude for the price increase. More and more governtment and corporations are buying and investing in btc with that kind of prices. So there is no doubt that the price could reach 3500k in my own speculations. The price went low for the mean time so i guess many have tried to buy it or even planninv to buy.

No one knows the exact price of bitcoins but if you see the current trend of bitcoins, one can easily say that bitcoin will be near or cross 5000$ by end of this year. Bitcoin price will continue to rise and we can see very high growth of bitcoins if we do not hear any bad news related to bitcoins. If things went smooth, believe me we shall see record price of bitcoins this year.

Isn't it the same with altcoins? People are buying ETH because of rumors that it could be accepted in Russia. People were buying LTC because segwit was activated and they knew the price would go up. It's always speculation, because cryptos don't have much real use yet.
About corrections, BTC is correcting every week, but these are small ones caused by traders. Holders are still holding and demand is obviously rising. I was thinking $3000 by the end of the year and it went up faster than expected.  Now I'm thinking $4000 in 2018 is very much possible.

Bitcoin is really poised for more growth and once the scaling problem can be solved even if not totally then we can be sure that its value can experience leaps not yet seen in its history. I would guess that it can already be reaching 4K level by May of next year. I am sure that many analysts would agree with this simple assessment of mine. Bitcoin is the future happening today.

My own guess is 4387 USD for the next year. Depending on if there are no issues could well be near $7325 a coin, so I will assume the higher end as a best case and 4387 as the normal case for my prediction on that day.

My own guess is 4387 USD for the next year. Depending on if there are no issues could well be near $7325 a coin, so I will assume the higher end as a best case and 4387 as the normal case for my prediction on that day.

That would be summer of next year and summer is always a high point in pricing, that puts the price at around $3900 at this moment in a year.  After a few months, or as a year average, the price for the coming year will sit at around $3200.  The highs will be just over $4000 and the lows at around $3000.

Face it, for most people, to buy another alt coin, they start with FIAT to Bitcoin and then forward, Bitcoin benefits from most new coins.

Why do people find it necessary to think that Bitcoin at some point might get replaced? It's total BS. Bitcoin and other crypto currencies can function alongside each other without any problems, plus we should not forget that altcoins don't serve a real purpose aside from the speculative aspect. Bitcoin is and remains gold, nothing can change that....

People think of that because they want to be the early investors of this hypothetical coin that usurps bitcoin place, the problem is that is going to be very difficult to do, and second most of them will not have the guts to invest in something they do not know if it is going to succeed or not, and for those kind of people it is useless to even think about that possibility.

Let's say there's a big plan for next year of alt coins but I don't think no other coin can surpass what just bitcoin did.
Bitcoin is bitcoin and it is the future. For me, bitcoin price after a year would be roughly $4,000 and that the idealistic thing.
Bitcoin for sure will have pumps and dumps every now and then and that's normal though. I would rather see that than having steady price. No ups and down. That would be boring.

I agree with your price prediction but I think a lot of people want a stable price actually. I for one would like some stability and moderate rises as it leads to less destabilizing crashes.

It looks like many are guessing that the price of bitcoin will good at $3k mark before this year ends. I also want to make a guess that the price of bitcoin will be good at $3,500. I'm not that good in speculation but base on what I can see I will go with the crowd and majority of the people here that speculates that way.

Yes the price will not be too far from the current price. I am more optimistic if the price is in the range 3500USD up to 4000USD. This looks realistic to see the current price developments. I compared the increase in bitcoin prices that could reach 100% in the past few months, so this is not impossible. Everything can happen to bitcoin.

A year from today? $4125. Why? That would be slower growth then we're at right now and I don't see a huge dump coming so it would only make sense. Mainstream adoption is coming. Hope you've bought enough bitcoins to have a happy life in 2020.

I think i cant say anything in this moment because there are many instability with the protocol consensus of bitcoin, the problem of china with btc and i will wait for august 1st to get a new perspective.
