Btc or Ltc?

For right now I would pick BTC as it is more reliable. Long term? We will see

Even if after a several years. BTC is better in LTC. Someone just hype LTC.

its good to still hold btc than ltc but if we want to invest our money in ltc then its good too like what traders that still holding ltc and they still have btc too. for long term, i think holding ltc is really good because now the price is increase and waiting for next high price soon.

The charts say you will probably have to wait two years for litecoin price to pump again. On the other hand, bitcoin is in a no doubt bull market right now. Would you rather double your money by investing in bitcoin, or probably lose money by investing in litecoin? The smart money left litecoin at the pump last month and went into bitcoin. No trader I know has a long position in litecoin now, they have lost interest.

The traders are interested in flip their money on the ICO project, especially for those whales. Litecoin is not a suitable coin for long-term investment although it depends on the where are you buying your litecoin. I mean about the rate at the same time with your entry to the market.

Some people thought if litecoin can be a long term investment if they can try to follow and buy the litecoin on the cheap price.

Litecoin can be determined as a nonlong-term investment at all.

I would suggest you to invest those amount in trading and try to multiply your coins or find a good initial project and invest in those and multiply your asset,since you are planning to grow your asset that is the best possible way rather than investing all your amount in one or two coins.

OP only 2 option, bitcoin or litecoin, not option etherum(ETH)

i think until now never replace position bitcoin is number one volume transaction crypto curency, bitcoin still the best, so bitcoin or litecoin, bicoin still above litecoin

I would like to divide it into two parts, 50% in bitcoin and 50% in litecoin, both coins are good but btc is more stable at the moment.

50% Litecoin?? No way, that's too much. I'd say 10% at most.
Some other coins have more potential, like ripple, ethereum or dash.

What about the ETH rocket? 

ETH has made its move and it is a really risky proposition to enter the coin at this valuation,i would go for litecoin because i do expect that there is a rally left in the coin and since you have a limited budget i would suggest invest in litecoin as that is the under valued coin right now in the market.

ETH´s  price  is very high now, about LTC it looks a good option, but BTC could be better choise maybe.

Yap i dont mean to judge but as far as i can remember LTC has existed before ETH and eth is now more successful than ltc. i have had investments in ltc hoping for it's increase but i did not have some luck during the phase. Eth as i observed has been making a lot of headlines lately and i gotta say, more in more investors are accumulating eth coins. And i know someone who invested in ETH last year and he now is a millionaire in my country. SO yeah eth is better.

I have remember wayback on last year that i have engaged on ETH faucets which do gives decent amount when it was just starting and decided to leave and focus only to bitcoin and now i do somehow regret and murmuring to myself why i did quit and leave eth behind and now its soaring up high and might give me a million as of these days. Back to topic, Btc or Ltc then we do have a common answer for most people here.

1000$ is not a huge amount if you want to invest the whole in BTC, so I would say diversify the amount in different coins. If you want to invest only in BTC and LTC then its better to divide 75 - 25, 75% in BTC and 25% in LTC. LTC is getting popular these days and if it gets adopted more then obviously the rate will increase.

I think with that amount, choose coin which is lesser than 10k sats to that the movement of a coin has more potential to spike as invetors ascertain that it's worth to invest in. Also, try to invest in a coin which has a huge support so huge dump can be avioded.

BTC or LTC has managed to enable moden advanced tech sooner, still a lot of uncertainty whenn BTC will follow.

I am not recommended btc because the price too high and ltc is sideways. Why you not try another coin, such as xrp, xrm or eth. This 3 coin have significant moving price and you can get some profit from there. But if only have option btc or ltc I'll suggest btc only. There are supply and demand still running and there's an opportunity there. Hope you'll find the best option and good luck.

BTC might have some volatile times ahead but it is hard to imagine BTC failing...and LTC taking over... but real life businesses are starting to use LTC..so LTC has a good future ahead.

Ya, you're right about litecoin. On the decision part, I think the OP already has his mind made up. Otherwise he would've included more options to choose from in the mix. However, I can suggest Dogecoin to him if he won't mind. I have been gathering that coin from faucets for a while now. Sadly, faucets don't give out much any more.

Litecoin is one of the most used Altcoin I am using right now. It's not that I am a fan of LTC, it's just I like to use it for its cheap fees transactions as opposed to Bitcoin. But who know, I may like it more in a near future and start to build my empire around Litecoin

Litecoin definetly has the most room to run and is on most exchanges. That is an advantage where people are searching where to put their money in crypto these days.
