新华社北京5月29日电 综合新华社驻首尔、华盛顿记者报道：韩国军方29日称，朝鲜当天清晨试射一枚疑似短程弹道导弹。美军太平洋司令部证实，该导弹落入日本海。
韩联社援引韩国军队联合参谋本部消息报道，当地时间5时39分左右，朝鲜于江原道元山一带试射一枚飞行物，飞行物飞行大约450公里，推测为“飞毛腿”导弹。韩美军方正进一步分析具体信息，韩军将紧密监测朝方动态。
韩国政府当天早晨为此紧急召开安保会议。
美军太平洋司令部在一份声明中说，司令部在夏威夷时间28日上午10时40分（北京时间29日凌晨4时40分）探测到朝鲜进行了最新一次短程弹道导弹试射，地点在朝鲜东海岸元山一带。导弹被检测到在飞行6分钟后落入日本海。
声明还说，北美防空司令部评估后确定，此次朝鲜试射的导弹不对北美构成威胁。
