Hi guys. I was wondering if there is any way to export your blockchain.info wallet? I noticed I have 2 addresses with clams in them and would like to withdraw them. I tried to find an export option but couldn't :/

Any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^

You can export the private keys of individual addresses, one at a time. Go to settings -> addresses, and for each address you want to export, go to more options -> private key and acknowledge the warning.

I have recently become active again after a long period of inactivity. Cryptographic proof that my account has not been compromised is available.

There is no export feature for private keys of blockchain.info since they update there wallet to HD wallets, and you cant even export private keys of individual addresses of it, I don't think if where do you see this tutorial since then. All you can do is import a private keys to blockchain.info. So to OP if you just want to withdraw your coins there then just send it to other address.

~snip~

My apologies; I tested with an address under the wrong header. Any idea whether the seed is in a standard format that either the BIP39/BIP32 javascript tool, or Electrum, will take?

I just tried my seed on blockchain.info to import it on Electrum desktop wallet and it works, Just click the BIP39,in options checkbox after you input your seed in the box. And it will works. So the answer is mentioned already. And btw my electrum is 2.7.1.7

as bL4nkcode said electrum accepts BIP39 seeds which seems blockchain.info is also using. if you are looking for additional tools you can use this one: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 which is in Javascript. there is also an online version here: https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ but it is best if you clone the repo and use it offline.

Problem is I want to withdraw clams and blockchain.info doesn't even show your clams balance :/

And to get the clams out, I would have to import my wallet.dat into the clamcoin wallet

Oh I've had the blockchain wallet since 2012 or 2013 (I don't remember exactly). I was just checking one of my old addresses on the clam coin checker and it said I have clams that can be claimed (Most of them showed 0 clams). So I was just wondering if there is a way to get my wallet.dat from blockchain so that I can import it into the clamcoin wallet and get those clams out.

I'm sorry if I sound super newbie but that's because I'm bad at technical terms and technical stuff :/

And I didn't store any clams on it. Clams, to my knowledge, were given out to all addresses that were active at a certain point in time so I guess since my blockchain.info wallet addresses were active at that time, I received some clams on them Smiley

Yes I get your point now.Did you cross check with their parent site if the addresses in your blockchain.info have calms in it ? Just post the addresses here,I'll check.

12th May 2014 to be precise.Yes,you need to export the private keys into another wallet.Follow one of the advices above or read more here : https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/06/18/tutorial-the-import-export-feature-in-your-blockchain-wallet/

There are no such option anymore.  Cry You can only IMPORT bitcoin private keys to it. So if you want to control your bitcoin wallet funds then generate new bitcoin address with private key everywhere and import it to blockchain.info. So if they go down in one day you will able to continue managing your coins  Smiley

Or export the seed and import it into another wallet. You get the added protection of securing all future keys derived in the wallet with that seed, since it's an HD seed (seemingly BIP39 compatible)

Actually op is trying to claim free clams, the rules are must own bitcoin address and  had coins in them prior to may 16 2014 not only bitcoin but also litecoin and dogecoin address ( i'm looking for my old doge and ltc address to ) this is their initial distribution type, the price is currently $6 each, i regret deeply selling my clams that i've got for free at the cheap price.
I claimed my free clams before blockchain updated their wallet to the HD wallet.

This is why i confused, so it means that we can't export our bitcoin address anymore? Sadly i have some old bitcoin address and need to be exported, op you'll be lucky if you can export the address the clams price is high right now, all i can say good luck for you. So how much clams that you will receive?
