I don't want to buy ETC and ETH at this time because its already in the high price and it hard to pump more so the next is dump. I know there is a right time to buy that coins and I think not now. I'm waiting for the next big updates and signals on that coin so that I will buy because I know it will increase in that time.

Eth is the best rather than ETC as eth is one of the most traded cryptocurrency. And, its been supported by other investors wit huge community. That until now Eth is still strong and continuosly been active in the market.

I will say that ETH holds more market share and has more functionality but I very much so prefer ETC monetary policy changes coming at the end of the year. But ETH, EXP, and ETC are all talking about having a POS/POW hybrid coming in the 2018 roadmap. The only two Ethash coins that are not talking about this are UBIQ and MUSIC.

Both of them are the same dude... I have read about both of these coins and it seems that there are no significant difference between these 2 coins. Therefore, buying etc is the better choice |

I suggest you to buy ETH. Although I'm doing ok on it, how anyone can suggest buying at this price is beyond me. 33 thousand USD for a measly 150 ETH ? Are you kidding ? Bug ridden. Forked. Soon to be obsolete & drowned in more advanced competition. Airgapped. Some burnt hands on the way IMHO. |

So I still think BTC is the real thing and the way to go - but I want to put a smaller amount into ETC or ETH, kind of as an insurance.
What are the differences, and which one of the two would you recommend?
I only know that ETH was created through a hard fork after somebody scammed somebody, so that scam could be reversed. Which means in ETH, transactions can theoretically be reversed.
Any input welcome.
If I desire to invest in Eth or Eth classic, I think I will go for eth classic as this is one of the coins that has been pencil down for next pump. Eth was over pump to over bought levels and one need big capital currently to make it big in eth. Eth classic on the other hand is currently cheap, you can buy and make huge profit from the next pump. |

if by "buy" you mean invest in for short term to make a big ass profit then obviously the answer is ETH!
it is centralized and has a lot of pumpers working on it and on top of that it has a very strong advertising team which contributes to its pumps during the time they are happening.
you just have to find that exact time to get in and make sure to sell on top of each peak to get out fast to make the most profit out of the pumps and not give anything to the pumpers.
rinse and repeat.
ETC on the other hand has a better decentralization but it lacks the pumping team, and that means smaller pumps and smaller number of them.

I bought ETC and ether when the price is cheap so Im very happy now because if I sell it now I have profit but I want more profit so I decided to hold it for few months or 1 year . But If I see the price is good i will sell that . But I think if want more profit you can buy ethereum coin its better than ETC. But I suggest buy this two coin . And for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future.
