Might be able to pick up two of these ASUS HD 6670 1GBcards from work for free..

Does anyone know if these are even worth their energy cost?

I have a spare rig waiting for new Radeon cards to come back in stock so just wondering if it's worth throwing these asus cards in as a temporary place-holder?

They might not even mine enough to cover their energy usage at 15cents/kWh but can't seem to find much info on them on the interwebbs

The volume (or lack) of responses leads me to believe I would be the first pioneer to try the cards... for good reason I'm sure haha

The only way you could potentially make any decent mining profits would be if the electricity is also free.
They are a very old GPU and consume a lot of juice and do very little on a global rank of GPU.
For nostalgia effect they would look better if hung on the wall like a trophy.
Just think this:

Radeon HD 6670   72.21 mHash/s  Algo sha256d   and about 127 k/hs  in scrypt
IMHO
