6月8日，也就是下周四，英国将举行议会选举。而据英国首相特雷莎·梅29日说，大选后11天，也就是6月19日，英国与欧盟之间的“脱欧”谈判将正式启动。

　　特雷莎·梅说，这一启动日期不会被推迟。她就此敦促选民在议会选举中投票支持她领导的保守党，以便新政府更好地代表英国与欧盟展开谈判。

　　上个月，特雷莎·梅宣布提前举行大选，之后一段时间，保守党的民意支持率曾一度遥遥领先。但近来，保守党的支持率却开始下滑，与“老对手”工党之间的差距越来越小。
