I'll be honest when bitcoin hits $50k I'll cash out everything, probably sooner than that. I don't think it will ever entirely replace a currency, maybe work alongside it but even then fiat will always be more stable and less prone to manipulation.

Instead of my any logical thinking here I would like to share a news that I had seen about 3 days ago in the media channel .
At the TV program there was discussion about the legality of the Bitcoin and they were saying that after the mine of 1 btc , the mining of second btc is very though , so here we can say atleast in 20-30 years we can't touch this amount of the 21 millions because 1 btc mining will make much harder for us , so that Bitcoin will remain exist in the internet because miners will needed to get money to operate Thier miner .
So according to that news we can make sure that to reach 50000$ is really a simple distance time , because demands of the Bitcoin increasing speedily but still the demands are daily going down and down , so 50k$/ btc will easily reach .

Being optimistic is a good thing but it seems that you are super duper optimistic in this regard. I don't think any barrier for bitcoin to reach this figure but to be honest, I think it will take some extra time, probably even a decade. I am sure that Theymos will organise a grand party for all of the bitcointalk members if it happens.

I have the same thoughts with you. Liquefying bitcoin in such price ranges will make us feel a very big profit.

it is impossible for bitcoin to reach $50,000. because for the average people like us won't able to buy a single coin because no one can afford to buy it. so, the demands for bitcoin will decrease until no one can buy it. if that happens it will hard for us to sell coins.

I wouldn't jump to such conclusions , Bitcoin will hit $100000 per 1 BTC, its only matter of time, nothing else. Its easy to make such predictions because you are always at least 50% right without specifying time frame.
Anyway, good topic to use your imagination.

You have the right to dream, and try to work to achieve that dream, but, if you want to make a dream, it must be practical. With bitcoin, a virtual currency, although it is accepted by many countries, it can not pass the cash, its value is suppressed.

I would be so happy if one day I would wake up and realized that Bitcoin has already reached the $50,000 level...it would have a big dream come true. Although I don't have a big hoard of Bitcoin but certainly this can help me and my finances.

However, though Bitcoin is really rising, the road to paradise can be long, bumpy and winding so we should expect problems and challenges to come in from time to time.

For now, I would be still be happy if its value can reach $3,000 maybe before the end of 2017.  Maybe it is really time to hoard Bitcoin...if only I got more capital lol.

I think that day will not came soon , it is because the value of the Bitcoin is increasing but still the most of the people are saying that we should use other powerful and stable altcoins like ETH that have very small fee in comparison of the Bitcoin fee .
So here it may be possible that either the Bitcoin will increase the size of his block or the people will move toward another altcoins to keep himself away from the big charges of fee .
So probability are for the both and I think the Bitcoin will make some big changes in his system of block cmsize and limit and in that case we will be able to use Bitcoin as were using in the last year old days with low fees .

I dont really understand what you are trying to say. Big whales will unload at $50k ? People will always unload at certain milestones. We recently saw people dump at $2500+. Next time people will dump at $5k, $10k, $25k etc. The thing is eachtime it will bounce back up. So people dumping at 5k or 50k is just a temporarly drop in price.

To be on topic, I dont know if I will sell at 50k, not all my coins but maybe a small percentage. I think this will be the case for alot of users.

I agree with you. The 10k mark is very tempting. In my country if I have a few bitcoins back then (which I am sure I will) I would be tempted to open up my own pizza and pasta shop. That is my dream I am willing to pursue when I have enough coins in my wallet. I always dream about the moment when I will open up my own business and will totally interrupt the relations with my workplace. Only bitcoin can help me with that, that's for sure.
