guys, is this sia miner clean of viruses?
I am not good with coding; can some people please vouch this is clean?

I am referring to their own website, also found on github:

Why don't you use Simpleminer and merge mine or dual mine ETH and SC (Sia)
which uses Clayomre?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1541084.0

Or use Claymore Direct if using a windows rig.

When in doubt use what is proven already ^^^^^^^  You could mine sia with excavator on NiceHash if you're using NVIDIA, if AMD I would try mining Eth+Sia with Claymore's miner.

What hardware are you looking to mine with?

I dont understand that double mining at the same time, how it works? does it not downgrade in perfomance your ETH mining?

There is very now no, or very little downgrade to ETH mining. It does use a little more power though.
I have always dual mined ETH.
