I'm unable to login the Bit.ac wallet for 3 days now. I don't get the emails with the 2FA code.

There is no customer support, emails remain unawnsered.

Also no communication on SM https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=%23bit.ac&lang=nl but a lot of complaints of other people having the same problem. I fear my coins are gone.

What are my options? can anybody help me with this.  Is there some official org. i can go to. Can i press charges or something else?

Your help is appreciated a lot!!

https://bit.ac/contact
tells you the name of their company

https://www.companydatabase.org.uk/company/10567776/4541181/bitbase-ltd
tells you that bitbase is indeed a company, albeit, it's registered under a different address as the address listed on their site.

https://www.gov.uk/complain-about-a-limited-company
tells you how to file an official complaint against a LTD company

Wether or not you follow the official route by registering an official complaint, or try to wait it out some longer is up to you. (a lot of companies in this business tend to respond really slow, sometimes taking weeks to answer a ticket)

In the future please consider a wallet on your pc. If that isn't possible, I would even prefer to keep the coins on an exchange like kraken over an online wallet.

Exchanges are not a good place to store, but atleast some of them have a good reputation compared to online wallets.

You can put your altcoins on a software wallet that actually lets you have your private keys, like Jaxx.  It would be a lot safer than holding them on an online wallet like that - Jaxx is integrated with Shapeshift.

Larger exchanges aren't always safe either.  We know that from Cryptsy and Mt. Gox.

A number of people have complained on Twitter of being unable to log in to their accounts.

https://twitter.com/bit_ac/status/869239225467666437

There are some complains on PlayStore as well, probably the best way to contact them is through their twitter account. Seems that their twitter account is more active than their representative account on this forum.

I agree with this, there are some exchanges that has good reputation and will not try to scam their traders. Though you still need to be aware that it is not but it is more comparable and better with other web wallet. I'm storing most of my btc on a local web wallet for I find them legit and has a good communication with their support. @OP did they contacted you already?

i'm going to look into the software wallets. Think jaxx is ok. I also use coinpayments.com. they offer storage for a lot of different coins. Because thats what i'm looking for. Anybody familiar with this wallet?

And still no contact with bit.ac, they left a message on twitter.  They said : issue with personal pages is fixed. Don't know what they mean by that. Because login is still not possible.

Well this is strange after checking their twitter i find out that there are some people who complained about the same issue. I thought it's just personal issue and has been solved by their team as i can see on their last tweet. However on their official thread still no answer from them i think you should keep contact them via twitter since op was last seen on May 19, this is the reason why i don't put my coins on online wallet. Hoping your issue will be fixed soon.

I was a member of their signature campaign, and its obvious that they dont have any consideration for the people that are trying to promote them. They just stop sending the manager additional BTC for payments without any communication. Thats a warning sign if you ask me.

So, reading a feedback here I make a conclusion that it's not a safe wallet.

Welcome to the CLUB: BIT.AC has sodomized you.
They bypass their so-called 2FA CODE system to clean your wallets out.
go to https://etherscan.io to see if you have anything in your ETH wallet
or/and go to https://blockchain.info/home to see if you have anything in your BTC wallet.

and don't worry -- its only money.

So, reading a feedback here I make a conclusion that it's not a safe wallet.
My BIT.AC wallets are empty - they were emptied on May5 within minutes after I deposited the coins into them --and they bypassed their 2FA security Code System to do it. The Deposits occurred over a few days and yet the blockchain recorded all the deposits being at the about the same time the wallets were cleaned out .. so figure it out.
Check for yourself:
ETH
https://etherscan.io/address/0x5527b5e52d8aaaaf4bee4013f8267dbbc12a2dbf
BTC
https://blockchain.info/address/1Ep5ExFj2tZCwME24hcPFrrvRqoo49FPEy

The same thing happened to me at Coinbase: within minutes after a deposit was finalized -- it vanished: without me being notified. When I complained they locked my account for three weeks -- I quickly got their message.
So it seems that most, if not all, these "Exchanges" have  built-in back-doors so Insiders can bypass all their security features and rob Wallets without notifying their victims.

I have checked my AC Bit (DASH address), and found that everything has been transferred to multiple accounts and there are 2 outputs in large value and the only one is to the address owned by poloniex.com, maybe the hacker can create any form of freezing or obstruction if true 2 output This is the property of owner (development) of AC Bit. sry my bad english.

Well, let's review their tweets.

-Adds 22 more cryptocurrencies just before the problems begin, meaning that people have an incentive to store more money in their wallet
-Very suspicious "maintenance" happening far more often than legitimate wallets, while they "balance their cold storage reserves" (quite vague).
-Promises a "new website" in "moments" just a week ago, and it has not happened.

So it looks very much like a scam.
Here is more information about this unresponsive company. It appears to be run by a "Mr. Philipp Schnabel."
What's the chance that a scam company gave their real name to the government?  Doesn't seem likely.
