I have been successful with amd cards in using a the pci-e 1x to 3 Port switch hub. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/182591431818

But when  I connect a nvidia gtx 1070 it is not detected by Windows 10.

If I connect 2 cards to the switch  amd rx 480 and nvidia 1070 then only the amd card is detected.

If I then connect the nvidia 1070 to the motherboard it does detect and works fine.

Has anyone solved this problem?

I might try Linux in the future.
